I think the last chapter answered all questions but one. Why did Bill kill Tom? Because he did, did not he? Bill knew that Tom will have a breakdown once he figured that Bill left and is not as innocent as he was pretending. Bill knew that Tom would want to take a pill and drink vodka. So Bill dumped all the pills into the bottle of vodka (Tom thought that vodka tasted weird) and left the bottle where Tom could see it.
Tom never did anything to Bill. What to kill him?

My brain is now going into overdrive with all the reasons why Bill did what he did, for him being the person he is and why, why, why do that to Tommmmm?
*sniffs* The life isn't fair maxim sure sucks here. I imagine Bill is somewhere far away, living his life of luxury, but the story opens up more questions than answers and would love to see it answered.

This was fantastic - I loved all the plot twists, the range of suspects and their motives. Completely enthralling. And oh and poor Tom, my heart breaks.

I have to admit, I'm really glad you ended it this way. It was starting to look like a cliche happy ending, and a story like this would have been ruined. I was starting to get disappointed by the sappiness of it, but I should have known you wouldn't have let your readers down like that. Perfect ending
