First, second, third reaction: WHAT?!?!? Okay, I calmed myself at least a little bit down now...Maybe it sounds strange but I can’t be mad at the Bill in your story because first of all its Bill(and I simply can’t be mad at him :D)*1, second he didn’t kill anybody either they committed suicide or David murdered them so it’s not primary Bills fault (:D), furthermore my theory is that he kind of hated all men because of what his father did to him and that he simply used them for his ultimate aim in life ‘to leave his past behind’ and ‘to be free and independent and to has control over his own life ‘so it’s kind of ‘understandable’ , last but not least see *1 :D. You really, really fooled me; that point goes to you :). And I just thought at the end of the 7th chapter ‘Why didn’t David kill Bill, he had to hate him so much because Bushido loved Bill and not him...’ but you answered my question with the epilogue. The story had everything a good crime story needs: Hilarious dialogues between cops, dead people,an brilliant author and a twist.

*gives you an evil smile* Like I said from the beginning, i LOVE detective stories.

This was amazing because even when readers thought they knew the killer, well 'man behind the mask' and i've been calling him to my friends, they read the epilogue and you still manage to confuse the hell out of them.

I'm glad to say that a series of people all owe me 20 dollars each because I told them it'd end like this.

NOT SAYING that you're writing is predicable, because it's not (there were various things that had me going 'holy shit, i so didn't see that coming') but as I stated in one of my previous reviews, I do read A LOT of detective novels, and I saw tiny things that one never really notices unless you, as the author, want them to notice, or you, like me, sit here and analyze stories like this because they're intelligent, not in the sense that you use words that no one will ever understand, but in the way that you make people think, actually use their brains to pick through the webs upon webs of actual plot.

psh, you're probably going 'why is this girl writing this insanely long/annoying review', but I just wanted to let you know that I LOVED this story, and I am definitely pleased with the ending. ^_^

Author's Response: Hon, I hope every single one of those people ponies up, and as for annoying review? Hardly. I'm glad you got it right. This was my first foray into mystery, so I'm glad I did it mostly right, so I thank you for your over analyzing and everything because if a mystery can't hold up to nitpicking, then it's not a good mystery to begin with.

Lady, I don't wanna hear nothing about type casting you killing characters when you repeatedly go and kill characters. I knew it was Bill but I can't even gloat because poor Tom! ;_;
