Looking into that little slice of Bill's life was so heavy and depressing. I really feel for him, feeling guilty about wishing his mother would just die already, but being a dutiful son and making her supper, helping her out. I don't think that what he does for her right now is simply out of obligation, but I think it's inching toward that, and I think it's going to get worse the longer she lingers. He thinks that he didn't want to leave work because he's tired of not being able to buy the things he wants, but I wonder how much of going to work is escaping.
The pregnancy symptoms are curious. I'm interested to read further to find out how male pregnancy works in this universe. Is there a reason it doesn't seem to occur to him that he may be pregnant? Is it that unusual? And then I think about him actually having a baby and trying to bring it into that world, into that house and that life and how Bill is going to handle that. Will the baby be another escape? or just another level of hell for Bill?
The pot aspect is interesting. Everyone seems to be self-medicating, but don't we all, in one way or another?
I expected Bushido's character to be rich, already be a rapper, but I guess he wouldn't be boinking Bill in the back seat of a car if he were, right? I'm really curious as to what his story is.
You have done a wonderful job of letting us look into the lives of these guys without giving us too much information, making us anticipate the next chapter even more. So nicely done.

After reading this I definitely went back to read the prologue. I guess when I read the first part I'd already assumed that Bill and Bushido would be rock and rap stars. Boy did I miss the AU warning.
I am pleasantly surprised to see a fic in which lower-class-and-in-a-bad-situation Bill isn't completely horrendous and so stereotypical that I can't stand to read any further. It's quite refreshing, actually. And to see that he won't necessarily be "saved" by an already famous, established rapper is a nice change, too.

I've been waiting for someone to write something like this O_O Whatever the pairing,just something like...This.
This universe where one has to fight and summon strength to wake up every morning to face the day. And the two of the characters are in it.Not like the other is filthy rich and here comes a cinderella story.(Some of that kind of story is very wel writen though)
So they have now two things that can potentially make them meet again.The weed (if Bill needed some for his mother) or at the club. But will they remember each other?
I like that too. This fic is anti-cliché.It's not like Bushido noticed Bill's doe-eyes shining and he was attracted. He is the "random twink". None of them is thinking "whatever happened to that handsome guy the other night"? They are facing life as it is each on his side. That is,of course,till something happens.
I adore this story already,it should be featured!no?^^

Oh my...life really doesn't look too good for those two. Especially with additional costs on the way. *g*
This really isn't what I had expected when I saw the nice banner with "Bill 1.75, Bushido 1.75, Baby 1.33" (awesome btw) at all and I was a bit wary at first because of it but I'm really beginning to like it. And you've got me curious as hell as to where the fuck Tom is. He's not dead, is he? I think he left them alone because he just couldn't deal with their mother, but I'm sort of hoping the had more...erm...noble reasons.
Can't wait for the next part!
