I want to add to invisiblehabits' review in saying I agree with the brains and brawn comment. It's very interesting to see their dynamically different methods of killing. But I also wanted to say, on the 'without souls' point, is that I actually find them the very opposite. The only reason I'm not completely terrified of them is because they're capable of emotions, if only for each other and the pleasure of a good kill. They're not entirely insane. A bit a stretch, but this prompts a quote in my head from Hamlet, "Though this be madness, yet there is method in't." Sometimes, I find myself feeling really bad for the twins that all they have is each other and these feelings are most prominent when they're alone frolicking in the grass or talking in bed. If they were shed of their layers of expertise, I think I find them to be simply two innocent boys struggling to stay together in the only way they know how - immediate elimination of all threats.

Author's Response: Icemint, you are amazing. Your insight is intuitive and very rarely wrong. A legend grows because it's based on truth and a little lie, the 'Twins without Souls' is a name others gave them. They cannot understand them nor do they ever hear about them in a situation that didn't result in body removal. I want to show that EVERYONE has a particular perception of the twins, and no one has all the pieces nailed down quite yet. Not even Gustav.

"...and not everyone's afraid of Bill and Tom."

The minute I read that, I thought of Gustav; the only character I was left waiting for.

The plot thickens! I can sense some dissension going on in the organization. David's in over his head and I feel he should pull back before everything he's work so hard for crumbles before him. But I really don't think that's going to happen. Did he even stop to think this all through? I'm disappointed in him.

I love the roundabout way David has to go to get Bill and Tom to work for him. I'm very taken by Bill's character as he's clearly emerging as the dominant twin in a weird, undermining way. Those boys are going to be the death of each other, my gosh.

Tom's angry? I'd hate to see what happens when Bill gets angry.

So, I haven't found a fic this engaging since forever. You're fabulous! I'd love to talk to you in real time someday. Thanks :)

Author's Response: lol you figured out Gustav before even reading. *hands over cool points* I brought him out late because I needed his reaction to be diametrically different from everyone elses. To prove that if you don't provoke the twins then they'll leave you alone. If you do... it really was your own fault. rnrnDavid on the other hand is so desperate to control the thing that got him this far he's becoming sloppy. He should know you don't piss in the water you drink, and his actions aren't going to come out the way he wanted them to.

This is so good. Seriously loving scary Bill and Tom. Is it normal I think that they'd be hotter as killers than anything else?

Author's Response: lol not at all. Thank youfor your review!

aw yay is it odd of me to be happy that gustav doesn't really care about the twins psycotic behaviour. it's one of those things where i really enjoy the interaction between them.
I really worry for georg i hope he doesn't get himself killed, i care less about the twins lifes because they are of the firm opinion as long as there both dead it doesn't matter the idea sticks with them. sheer excelence again...

Author's Response: lol I don't think it's odd of you to be happy that Gustav isn't put off by the twins, he gets them. And the comment about how you don't care about the twin's lives was very funny. I had to reread the sentence to make sure I read it correctly. Thank you, and thank you for your review!

this chapter... god it was amazing. it was so delicously twisted and the way you described everything... espeaially how much joy the twins seem to get from other peoples pain. the way they killed so ruthlessly was sick and sent a chilling shiver down my spin and i loved every minute of it :)

I see, so the last part only comproved What i always knew - Jost is right when he says that in a certain way, Bill is the most powerfull twin 'cause the bigger weapon(Tom) is on his hands

it was intelligent of you to show us the P.O.V of a guy killed by the twins - in that way we can have a idea of how sick the twins are and how bad is to kill someone.OMG. I keep loving them( I lol'd so hard ant Bill claping his hands at the triangle)

Author's Response: Lipa, I love your insight. I'm so glad you picked up on that. *blushes* lol I laughed when Bill clapped his hands too.

I've read the whole thing through and I have to say that I absolutely love this story. I love the sort of Bonnie and
Clyde feel of it, not because they rob banks or anything but because they only care about/love each other and the heck with everyone else starting with there parents. I loved how when they were in the orphanage you described Tom as not having any kind of feelings for anyone other than Bill because thats how I would imagin him in that kind of situation.

Overall I think the story is amasing and
I hope you update soon. :)

Okay. Okay. Sooo good. Love how Bill is just getting increasingly creepier. He also has Tom wrapped very tightly around his finger. Yeah...Tom may not be the more powerful/deadly twin at all.

See? Bill is deceiving. Great job with the consistancy!

Bill with his blades shouldn't have turned me on this much. *fears for sanity and good sense*

And the cook! The poor cook, OMG.

Tom and guns flock together, eh? Very intriguing how he and Bill have taken to different weapons that are, strangely, extensions of themselves.

David, honey, stop trying to explain right and wrong to them. They don't get it. Just try to keep your men alive. But after the twins killed off the homophobe and the Dread!Cutter, I really don't think the men are that stupid anymore. I hope.

Tom and the nail gun shocked me, but Bill and the hacksaw stunned and terrified me. Georg? The word you are looking to describe Bill is actually a few: Batshit Fucking Insane. Or possibly deranged. Or a complete lunatic. Any of those would fit.

Ah yes. Bill and his pet. Georg maybe you should wear your hair down more often before you anger Bill. LOL.

Great job, hon! You rock.

Author's Response: Nightshade, I feel like I'm going to review your review! lol I can't believe you feel sorry for the cook... lol. David is going to have to learn some valuable lessons about the Twins, and I think you'll enjoy them. As for Georg, he really did this by calling attention to himself. And Bill doesn't think he's insane, just different.
