I have to say i liked the epilogue on the other site better. i love angst, and this was a very good, very well written story. but i like my happy endings, what can i say? great writing though. =)

Author's Response: No, I have not. I don't know if you read my author notes but, if you look over them you might understand the difficulty I would have truly representing that. Some of the parts I left 'loose' or confusing are that way because I just don't know the right answer.

I cannot even begin to describe how this made me feel. By the end I was completely torn apart. Although I knew it was coming, when you said they never saw each other again, I cried buckets. And you lived through this? I guess that is what makes it so touching and beautiful and even desperately sad. It's so real, it tells the story of hundreds of children in only several chapters. It really is amazing. I know this story is one of those that I will never forget. Words can truly describe how awesome this is. :)
