Awww Tom, go rescue Bill already haha.
This story is absolutely different from a lot of the cliche stuff on this site. I enjoy it. :D

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the comment!

This might sound stupid coming from me but is a 3 like a C and a 1 like an A?

I love the story it's going into my favorites!

Author's Response: Pretty much. The grading scale in Germany is from 1 to 5 with 1 being excellent and 5 being insufficient. A 3 is satisfactory- not good or bad.rnThanks for your review!

lol, no need to apologize^^ I just found it funny that it's so surprising:) I get what you mean though with all the bikes^^ I think 2/3 of my high school also went on the bike, but ofc it's not as small as Magdeburg^^

Author's Response: Thanks for reading!

Lol, on the contrary, the word count was short. Short word counts are often associated with poorly-written stories, so I was happy to find that the opposite was the case with this one.

I'm very glad that you're writing this. It's always nice to find authors who write about things that they've experienced and can convey these experiences well. I look forward to reading more!

Author's Response: Thank you. This story will be quite unfit to tell most of my experiences with foster care but will attempt to explain both sides in an intelligible way.

Germans use bicycles so often that there are rows upon rows of bicycle racks at every school. It is quite something to be confronted with such an un-American idea!).

Is that really so surprising? xD lol I thought it was normal that students go to school on the bike, at least it is here:)

Tom does care about him, only if it's a little bit.

Author's Response: Excuse me! I did not mean to insinuate that Americans are particularly lazy, only that the sheer numbers of bicycles at a German school in a city such as Magdeburg are quite amazing! I will see if I can't upload a couple of photos of a rather clever storage system at a Gymnasium in Oldenburg to give my readers an idea. When I say two hundred bicycles, that would be between half and 2/3's of the students in the school. It is not very big.

God.

Can I hit Tom?

Go on? I like this one, this is your best so far! Yes, I've read all your stories, like you asked. I couldn't really cope with 'The Flight', the idea of Tom never knowing where Bill had gone scares me out. I get scared by the idea that something would happen to one of them.

Author's Response: No, you cannot hit Tom. He's not soooo bad. Thanks for the review!

This is interesting; I'd like to see where it goes.

Very good start! I almost didn't click on it when I saw the word count, but I'm glad I did. I have a bit of a soft spot for foster children, so I look forward to reading more. :)

Author's Response: Was the word count too long? Foster kids are...interesting. I've lived with, at various times, 9? Maybe 10. I don't really remember.
