I'm not sure what to say to this. It gave me an odd feeling inside, one I can't explain. I liked it, it was very good, but it's left me with this feeling that I'm not sure what to do with. I felt like the ending was kind of abrupt, like incomplete, but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. But anyway, it was very good.
Author's Response: It kind of left me feeling odd too. Like. I dunno, like I was saying I wished one of them dead or something really awful. Which is one of the reasons why I didn't write, like, an after or whatever you could call it. It just felt like...I dunno, too much. But there is another 'installment', I guess you could call it, of this, only it won't be another chapter. :)

This so breaks my heart. I don't want to see them like this! I want them to be young and happy and carefree and not for everything to be all about image and sex and fame. And I like my anti-reality glasses that let me see them as I want to. This really put a question in my mind though, because your writing is so real and so intense. You can almost feel Georg's tiredness, and it makes us numb right along with him. And all of that makes the scenes with Tom, which are quite surreal, carry this heavier undertone of realism that just cuts to the bone.
I've always said your writing is amazing and I won't be changing that opinion anytime soon. As much as it's going to break my heart, I want more.

Oh my god... Oh yes, had you not updated this I would've killed, because I needed something to kill me as good as this just did. So this isn't the last chapter? I know I said that I'm not looking for an actual ending, don't want all the strings tied together, but we've seen it from Jost's point of view and Georg's point of view, and it doesn't really feel "complete" until you've written from, well, everyone's point of view. So... I didn't expect the Torg! XD I'm not into it, at all, but it didn't really bother me. Speaking of that, I need to quote:
Tom never bottomed for him, not once, and it hurts Georg. No one is important enough to Tom for him to let them in, except for Bill.
You have a way of putting things that never ceases to amaze me. I think that Tom would never let anyone but Bill in, not even Georg (I only put the "even" there because of the Torg in this).
His mind is still churning over the half-remembered dreams and thoughts.
That line just... God, I don't know. Just needed to quote it. The last couple of paragraphs are heartbreaking and poetic and I adore them. I adore this whole thing, because it's so realistic and heartbreaking and I have a thing for gen. XD
Sorry, I think I rambled a little bit... felt like it, anyway. Bottom line is, you did another spectacular job, and I love this. Thanks for posting it. :)

There's a reason I added this to my favorites when it was first posted, yet never reviewed it: I'm still speechless. This is more than just an "Ouch"; it's so realistic and beautifully written that I feel the after effects of the angst tingling all the way down to my toes, if you know what I mean. I recommended this to a friend of mine, one of the harshest critics you'll ever come across, and she really, really liked it. (She's never loved a fanfic so be proud.) I agree with you; out of everyone, Gustav will survive the mess. The twins... god, the simple thought that everything is just a facade... It's heartbreaking. This fic is heartbreaking and so well written and I'm just rambling... Sorry. I love it, anyway, and you need to update!! :)
Author's Response: Aw, I must be hormonal or something, because your review nearly made me cry! And I know what you mean with the angst tingling thing - your fics do me the same way! I'm really flattered your friend liked it; and I do feel proud!! Bah, this is why I started writing fanfics. x3 I don't mind your rambling, because that's kind of how this story started out. I hope the second chapter lives up to your expectations; it's not really...well, it doesn't solve anything and I don't know if it adds anything either. Author's Response: Thanks for the review! And I agree that the band is definitely headed for...I dunno, something, although, like you said, maybe not necessarily a death. I could have let Tom live (eesh, that sounds bad) but it wouldn't create the right amount of contrast.
