... A couple of things...
I am enjoying the ambiguity of Gustav, he doesn't trust Jost, and I don't blame him. He's a good cop put into a bad position.
I'm kind of peturbed that Bill would tell Gustav the situation and not Tom, unless he's getting reckless and there is something that Tom truly shouldn't know. No information tends to get people killed though.
On what evidence are they able to issue a warrant? He hasn't been caught red handed, or Jost would have picked him up. I truly hope he didn't falsify evidence, because that's going to make his downfall even worse (hopefully).
All in all, great chapter, and I can't wait for the next installment!
