Well I can give you my opinion and the one of "my" (yours) Italian readers for whom I translate this story (who never have enough to say what a fantastic writer you are and this makes me soooo happy! ^^).
We notice that this fic is never overdramatic but always attuned to what real life can be. Life can be harsh sometimes and - unfortunately - people like Georg do exist and they ruin everything they touch. At the same time, there are also teens like Tom, who do not want to fuck their entire lives up and take the chance to improve them by changing their attitude towards many things.
And also "my" readers and I loved how you depicted Simone, who is the typical good and caring woman caught between the anvil and the hammer... (I don't know whether you say this in English... It's an Italian expression and I hope it gave the idea... **puzzled**.) Not to mention Bill... (I've already told you his situation is extremely well handled).
I do not know Fruits Baskets but I know that quote seemed to be made exactly for Bill's mouth! XD
Ok, I stop babbling. But believe me: this story is perfect! (or purrrrfect, as my cats would say...)

Awwwwww! So sweet it brought tears to my eyes. All the chapter is sweet but never overdramatic or too fluffy and it is how your entire story is, always well balanced between love, dreams and reality.
Now, of course, I can just imagine who kidnapped poor Andreas and I fear for him...
I know, they are only a fiction's carachters but they are so "human", so real, I can't help feeling sorry or happy along with them...
Author's Response: It took me a bit to get this out, but it was fluff filled and worth the wait right? I kinda stole the quote from Fruits Basket. Twas my favorite line in that entire series ^_^ but I thought it would go perfectly with Bill. I'm so happy you enjoy it, I try to keep the balance but sometimes I wonder if I put almost too much drama for a real life person to experience, hmm? omg! i'm so sorry that all happened to you. I'm sorry you had to go thought a school shooting no one should have to. *hugs* some one killed my two ducks about five years ago and i'm still not over it i loved them very much. and the people who did that to your bunny should me hunt down and hurt! just like they hurt your poor bunny! oh and i love this fic so much. so sorry i never give you a review. oh no! what is going to happen to Andreas?? don't hurt him! tom and bill are just so cute together!!
Author's Response: Yeah, it sucks to have someone kill your pets. I had a duck once, her name was Squirt. Neighbors killed her for their thanksgiving dinner. God, I was only 6 and I remember hitting the neighbor kid in the back of the head with a hammer for that one, he had to have like 15 stitches but he deserved it... Fucking peoples. I find who killed Ajax (my bunny) and I'll seriously kill them.... But I'm glad you reviewed. We have to have some build up with Andreas, he's been out of the story for a while and I need to bring the drama back =] We've had like three utterly fluff filled chapters hehehe.
