I've always wanted to ask this, but what inspires your characterizations of Tom and Bill?
Author's Response: i don't really know. i wanted to write obsession and friendship that buries itself so deep inside your bones it consumes you. the characterizations (in this universe) are fallout, i guess. aside from that, anything and everything inspires me, however cliché that sounds.

I am usually not that fond of first person view, but this works very very well. I really do enjoy it. Some odd relationship they got going here. One can only wonder what plans Bill might have for Tom... *ponders*
Author's Response: heh, i don't do first person pov either, which makes me a total hypocrite. but i'm glad it worked for you! thanks for the review. :)

I have no words. This is so beautiful, but it's not fanfic. And that's a good thing. You have an amazing amount of talent - I've never seen anyone twist words as skillfully as you do. What are you even still doing on this site?
Author's Response: thanks so much! <3

Amazing! I honestly can't gush on and on about what I liked, it was all great.
Author's Response: thank you. :)

Oh my God. I can't believe I have just NOW discovered you and your stories on the site. I am in shock. You're writing is so poetic and delicious to read. I am IN LOVE! You've got to be the best writer on this site. I really admire your style and creativity.
GAH! I am going to now go and read everything you've ever written. Love love love this story, so moving and brilliant.
Author's Response: oh, thank you so much!!

this doesn't even come off as fanfic, this could be original. it's really well written, too. reminiscent of Poppy Z Bright mixed with Stephen King.
Author's Response: thank you so much!

Well, I just wanted to check your stuff out. I didn't expect to find THIS. I mean this is brilliant. YOU are brilliant. I don't know what to say. This is real writing, this is poetry. Line after brilliant lines. Perfect.
I dunno, it sort of reminded me of 'The Mysteries of Pittsburg' by Michael Chabon, although that's not such a twisted shit, but has an echo of it somewhere with the girl and Bill and Tomi watching from the sidelines...
I'll guess I'm off to read your other stories now. So glad to have clicked on your username. :))))
Author's Response: eee, i'm also really glad you clicked! thank you so, so much: coming from you, it certainly means a lot! :)

As an author myself I can agree that having someone who gets it is a rare and wonderful sight to behold. Most of the time they interpret things differently and, while not bad, you feel like you didn't explain yourself well enough to get what your feeling across to them.
And I don't spit out compliments to just anybody. I leave reviews, true, but the real compliments only go to very few peopl that I find worthy. You can always get better at what you do, but I truly feel that you're as close to perfection as can be, in my view of things. And my meager reviews on your work can feel so wrothless when that is the case.
Author's Response: oh, i definitely know what you mean. on the other hand, i've been in that position myself, and i feel almost bad when i just interpret what the writer wishes to convey differently. so i see both sides, and it's hard. to the people i find worthy, i just don't have the words to completely say how much their writing affects me. when something touches me like that, i either end up sounding like an idiot, a broken record, or i don't leave a review at all, which is a crime, i know. (maybe it's because compliments always stun me, myself.) oh no, not that, never that! i treasure them more than's probably healthy. :) so thank you, so much.

I force myself to read your fics slowly, and with great distance in between, because they're like an old glass of wine. If you drink too much you get drunk, need more and throw a fit when you find out it's all gone.
Your phrases are smooth and flowy when long and jagged and rusty when short and it gives me the feeling of bliss and slow death at the same time. I never know whether I'm supposed to laugh or cry or maybe do a little bit of both, because your fics show life, and we're supposed to both cry and laugh at life.
For some reason, there's always one thing that sticks with me every time I read one of your stories that I just can't get out of my mind and that I visualize over and over in my head. I turn the words into pictures and i realize all the more wonderful feeling that phrase/word/description gives me. This time it was "his voice like velvet and scotch" mainly because it's something I've never heard before and yet it's something that feels so natural and flows so freely that I wonder why no one has thought of it yet.
You are an inspiration and a drug. Excuse us mere mortals while we bow in awe at you.
Author's Response: you always make me speechless with your reviews because...you get it. and you sure are generous with your compliments. thank you so much for letting me know that what i write make you feel this way. i couldn't ask for a better reviewer. :)

I'm slowly making my way through everything you've written, and sometimes it makes it hard for me to write because I can't imagine a reason to write when I can't write as well as this.
Author's Response: i, um, well...i certainly never meant for this to discourage you to write, because i know i sure your fics! seriously, though, thanks for the review. :)

This was so very good. Clever and well-written. I loved it.
Author's Response: Thank you!!

I've been sitting here for a while trying to come up with a review worthy of this story...needless to say, I failed. So I'll just be honest and tell you that it's my favourite TH-related fiction ever. [I will mention the Bill/Tom dynamic though since it was the best thing about the story and very accurate in my opinion - anyone who watches the twins interact with each other in real life and doesn't see that Bill's the boss is quite oblivious ^^]
You are a truly talented writer and it's such a great pleasure reading your stories.
Cheers
Author's Response: Ah, I agree, Bill is the boss between the twins, it's quite obvious. Thank you so much for the review!! =)

There is something about your stories I can't explain. It's like every word has something hiding behind it, something I can't really grasp so I have to read every line over and over, and there's always a sort of... I can't even find a word to describe it, maybe filthy, foreboding?, feeling wrapping everything and passing so perfectly even through the computer screen, setting me in the most appropriate mood for the reading. It sounds strange but I love it and I mean it in the best possible way. I'm so glad I haven't finished reading all of your stories yet, you have no idea how much I enjoy them. And I'm sorry if I ended up sounding completely out there, my English is pretty bad.
Author's Response: It doesn't sound strange, not at all, because that's the way I intend for it to be. I'm so very pleased that you manage to grasp that. Thank you so much, and your English is not bad. ;)

You always put me at a loss for words. This is the stuff I wish I could write, but I really can't because it kills my sanity. You have mad skills, girlfriend.
Author's Response: Heh, I lost my sanity a long time ago. I would lose my insanity if I ever read Billshido, though, so I know what you mean. ;) Thanks for the review!! They always make me grin. :)

i nearly cried. i really dislike it when bill is the dominant one in anything, but i still really liked this. and i almost hated bill, which i pretty much never do. so conflicting!
Author's Response: I really dislike it when Bill is submissive, but whatever floats your boat. :) Aww, you shouldn't hate Bill, that's just the way he is, and Tom chose to stay with him, after all. Thanks for the review!!

So, I've been lurking on this site for, like, ever, and have read far more fics than I should have, but have never been moved enough to review any of them.
Uuuntil now.
Wow. This is INTENSE! I really, really love your writing style. Your comparisons are abstract but always make sense, always get the point across. The only times I'd remember I was reading a story and not actually -there- was when my eyes would start blurring and I'd remember I do, in fact, have to blink.
I really hope I've gotten my point across. This was amazing, your style is amazing, YOU are amazing. Wonderful. Just absolutely wonderful.
-Ami
Author's Response: Aww wow, thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me. :)

Don't really think it was OOC at all. The Jorg/Tom part was interesting and insightful. Bill was hot, really hot. This is quite philosophical, if you ask me. Again with the similies, though. That's your trademark, I guess. Good job.
Author's Response: I have a trademark? Huh. Thanks for the review. (:

Oh my gosh sweetie! I can't believe I just got to this, but I promised, so...
I loved it. LOVED it. I don't think it was weird at all. Some things you have written have been more...well, I hesitate to say strange, but yeah, a couple were kind of odd. This, however, does not seem odd to me. Or maybe I've just gotten so used to how you sound? I don't know, but whatever it is, I love it.
There are way too many things for me to say what it is I enjoyed the most. The concept is interesting in and of itself, but your writing grabs me so hard and shakes the living shit out of me. There are some amazing writers on this site, you well know, but NO ONE writes the way you do.
You want to hear the oddest thing? I kept hoping for the sex. Because truthfully, I think you would write a sex scene, even a small one, amazingly. In fact, I'm not sure I could handle it, as abstract and yet descriptive as you could make it. At first I thought that they never made it that far, this Bill and Tom, but then you said they were sometimes lovers, too. Is that weird that I wanted that? I just was thinking, we have seen into this guy's soul and we see the significance of them eating sushi together and being at the zoo together, but something that would seem as important to Tom as the sex isn't really touched on.
The other thing was Tom's dad. Just that little bit, little snippet that told us who he was, and furthermore, what they had. One sentence about "that's why he hasn't touched me in three weeks and why he hasn't been a dad for longer." WHOA. SO barely touched upon and yet this is probably the reason for the whole thing. No, not the reason he's out in the rain, but the reason he would be with Bill, and the reason he would stay with Bill.
I know I've told you before how amazing you are, but you blow my mind every time. Thank you so, so much for posting this.
Author's Response: First things first: Thank you so much!! Your reviews always blow me away. This was the best Christmas present I could hope to receive. :) So, I think you've just gotten used to how I sound, to be honest. The things I write aren't weird to me, but that's probably just because I'm the writer. I don't think wishing for a sex scene is odd. I was thinking of adding maybe a continuation of this, or something, with sex. I'm not sure. I haven't actually written smut before, though I've read enough to last me a lifetime, and I'm not sure I could pull it off. We'll see. ;) Yeah, I was kinda hesitant adding that one sentence, I'm glad it affected you in that way. It was meant to.rnrn
Thank you kindest for your awesome review, and you're welcome. ;) I have something else I might post soon. :)

So Andy Warhol-esque.. and Tom was the perfect Edie... honestly, I was swept along from start to finish and each new part my heart broke a little more.
Splendidly written, perfectly finished. I am in love.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

I loved it!! It was a little strange, indeed, but very interesting ; I think the kitten!Tom and dominant!Bill part was very well done, even if I'm not used to it. I like Eliot a lot, even though she's an OC, and of course, Kasimir (me and cats...lol)!!!
Thanks for the present, I enjoyed it a lot, great writing as usual, beautiful words that seem to take you with them to some sort of other dimension where nothing else matters but what you're reading...
Great job! It goes straight to my favs!!
Author's Response: Haha, I liked Eliot too, actually, and kitten!Tom is adorable. Kasimir is real, you know? You're very welcome, thanks for the review!! And the fav. ;)
