Baby steps. Heh-heh. For some reason I can see this movie montage of the various stages of 'Going Public'. Kisses in the early morning on the street, maybe a hug in an empty movie theatre, a couple of jokes in front of the lone cashier at a late night convienence store...Okay, sorry. It just struck me as hilariously funny.
Anyways, this is still way cute. The beach was adorable and the rescue was cliche but still adorable.
On that note, Tom is a bastard and, no offense, but Abagail is becoming a bit annoying. Obviously the issues of their relationship are a big part of the story, but most of the past few chapters have been about them arguing. It becomes harder to feel sympathy for Abigail when she's mostly whining about it instead of actually taking some sort of action (e.g. breaking up with him). Still, it seems like you may be slowly steering her away from this dangerous course of action. So, cheers!
