A very nice Christmas story! I especially liked the part of Bill comforting Tom after the bad breakup or what ever you would call that horrible lie she put Tom through...
Although it was quite obvious who Tom was sleeping with, it was a nice touch to not reveal the name until the very last...

Author's Response: Thanks!! Yeah... I knew it was a little obvious, and the fact that one of the pairings in the story is "tom/bill" kind of REALLY gives it away before you even read. I'm madly in love with this song and once I saw that it was a songfic I think I just about had a baby from my excitement. Beautifully, beautifully written and I really, really want to punch that girl for toying with poor Tom's feelings...although I am, of course, over-joyed that he got with Bill. The world would be just wrong without the two of them together.

Author's Response: I had the urge to write something emotional; that's just what the song does to me... I wanted to write this one last year, even. I started to, but it turned out crap, so I scrapped it and rewrote it altogether. ^.^ So thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
