I hope you two have something up your sleeves to fulfill the need for Billshido :( I can't believe that's it.
For a wedding fic this was sure bittersweet. But I suppose with these characters that's the only way it was ever going to be. I really enjoyed the cake testing and the discussion about the music. Even if they never got to experience it that wedding they had all planned sounded really nice. Also, the bachelor parties were hysterical

That was plain beautiful. You two build a universe like no one else. I am constantly amazed by the amount of detail that you give us in helping us live this with your characters. Just perfect.
Tom was so bittersweet. It hurt a little, made me want to hug him, but of course he would do anything for Bill, in the end.
I had to laugh that they ended up at the JOP after all Bill's planning, and fussing and cajoling. Yeah, in the end, what does it matter?
Bushido...your Bushido is patient, so in love, so...real. I swear he makes my heart flutter right along with Bill's. Now that I mention it though, it's not just Bushido, ALL of your characterizations are great. They are really cemented.
I'm going to miss this so very much. Thank you.

My heart... I loved every bit of it, like I loved every bit of every story in this series. So real, so in character and so beautiful. Bill and Bushido were fantastic, obviously, but I just wanted to say that the way you write Tom is completely perfect. My heart was breaking for him but I could also see his love for his brother and him finally becoming at peace with Bill's relationship and wanting him to be happy, even if it means that something between the two of them has to disappear.
The way you built this universe is just amazing. The developing relationship(s), the atmosphere, everything... but I guess all good things come to an end. Thank you for this.

I've never really been into reading about weddings, or the planning of weddings, mainly because I think marriage, like love, is strongest when subdued. I gag at PDA more often than not (unless the couple in question is old and wrinkly, then its just sweet. Well. As long as there's no nudity involved, because there are wrinkles in certain places I just don't need to know about) so big weddings and big plans about big weddings and fighting over cake and the types of flowers makes me gag too. It's just a personal preference, so when I began reading, I would have been disappointed that it started out that way if I hadn't known it was you. I pretty much knew you were going to pull it off the way I wanted from the beginning and you've never disappointed me before and you didn't start now. (Keep up with that trend, kthnx.)
The planning part wasn't difficult to read keeping that in mind, and I could see Bill getting so into that and dragging a reluctant Bushido into it too - and I could see Bushido wanting to participate and make the wedding his as well but I always expected them to shake out of that and go back to the foundation in the end. I didn't expect Tom to nudge them in that direction, but that was just icing on the wedding cake.
The entire story was a favorite part so I don't know what I should mention but the vague conversations made me giggle and flutterclap because, hello? "It's here, it's that place that we say we really love, but we never order from?"
"Um... the one with the thing and they make that dish with the stuff we like?" Genius. When I read that part I was thrilled, because I've seen so many people talk like that on a day to day basis but never seen it incorporated into a fic and then you had it pop up several other times ("Meet me two blocks over from the hall, at the place with that thing in the front.") and I squeed so hard I frightened my cat.
Attention to detail really paid off in this one - like it did in all the others - and the continuing theme of Tom's disturbing attachment to his car did me good. I loved every part of the Billshido interaction, of course, but there were two lines in particular that made the story for me and I think you know what they are. They're those lines that you write and go "Hahahahah I AM GENIUS" so you gotta know, but I'll mention just for the sake of mentioning anyway: "... You know he can't touch us, right?" he asked. "... No one can." [...] "He and I just need something you can't touch too." That was the dainty little bow on top of the big fantastic present and it summed and tied everything together perfectly; every aspect of every relationship between those three. I always loved that Tom was as much part of the series as anything else, but this cemented why I like the way you guys write relationships the best - it's never just about one, because you understand the fundamental truth that nothing can grow on singularity. I like being reminded that everything is part of a bigger something and that we don't have to have eight legs to be in a web and... it's real, you know. It's very real.
So, I loved. :) One big happy family indeed.
