Did you say Zoe had green eyes? Because that is impossible for a baby to have with two parents with brown eyes, since brown is a dominant color and Bill and Tom don't even have any trace of green in their eyes.

Author's Response: Trust me, genetics is a fond hobby of mine. If you have two homozygous recessive genes line up, it is entirely possible, such as two brown eyed parents producing a blue eyed child and vice versa. Happens all the time. Since Bill and Tom are essentially the same person, genetically speaking, their recessive genes would have more of a chance to line up, thus becoming dominant.

I'm so loving this sequel. Like in "...Makes Three," you write the twins so sympathetically, and I especially feel for Tom. And since Zoe is nearing 12 months and therefore approaching the expected time for her first words, I am hoping so much that she can call Tom "Dad" too. With all the crap that Tom has to take to hide his identity in her life, I'm hoping he won't be denied hearing his daughter call him Dad, because that would just majorly suck. I mean, maybe they could justify it as a "special title" since he's been half of the parenthood anyway, living with Bill and all that. =D Just my desperate wish as your awestruck reader.
