I really like how you portray Tom and I like Laney's personality in general.
It's very sweet and to the point. I love it. *favs*
I think I should just give some advice, instead of telling you what you should write. Try not to rush things. I mean, if you time skip, it's ok, but a story can't be well written if you're rushing it. I'm not saying you're rushing it now, because I absolutely adore the story, I just hope that you won't try to rush it out and get it finished quicker.
