Well, this is turning out really well. What I would say is avoid using digits, actually spell out the numbers that you use.
Other than that, when you describe, do use things like metaphors and similes, personification and the five senses, and so one. Really do describe, it's possibly the most important thing in a story besides the plot and characters, and you really need to use it!! It's not just what places and people look like, but emotions, what catches Rochelles eye - like the look in Toms; describe it!
