I think that....they both have it bad once you delve deeper into it. But, I think Bill has it worse off. At least Tom's parents aren't beating the crap outta him. His biggest problem is his loneliness, I suppose. But at least he has Jen! =]

I think Bill is worse off, all Tom has to do is try talk to his parents, and he must know they they love him somewhat.
Bill on the otherhand has to go to harsher measures to escape. And he knows that his parents hate him.
