Not only did you give me a new song that I love and it is one of my top played songs. Every time I listen to it I'm reminded of this fic.
This is also one of my top fics and I'm shocked that I've never reviewed it. I am so impressed with how simple it is, how short and how much it still manages to convey. The idea that Bill is powerlessness and even after he does something that should give him power he still is powerless. It is so sadistic that Bill sometimes looks at the pictures to remind himself how powerless he is. And every time he does I assume that he is back where he started. It's so real and spiral, returning back where he was
I find myself regularly wondering what was the difference between the victims he killed and the victims that left him. I wonder why he didn't follow them to tie up loose ends. I wonder how many he managed to kill and how many managed to escape.

Funny though; All throughout the story I kept picturing Tom as the 'victim' here, and Bill as the killer. But then halfway through I read it's the other way around. Has nothing to do with how you wrote it :) Just something I found myself doing.

That was creepy as fuck. But I like it. Normally I am not such a big fan of first person, but I don't think this would be so creepy from like third person point of view. My favorite part was when Tom takes the pictures of Bill changing and tells him he's getting fat. I couldn't tell you why.

It is a quick oneshot, and I think that does take away from it a little, not quite as 'intense' as I think you were aiming for.

I submitted a review before but deleted it because it didn't sound right to me. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this. The song seems to me very even and flat, and still conveys a huge amount of feeling in the words, and maybe especially because it is done so evenly. The same goes for this fic. The narrative is done so evenly and flatly (that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean), but to me it just indicates even more the horror that he went through. I think that must be difficult to do. You did a great job :)
