Weird? Not weird, brilliant. (Okay, maybe a little weird lol)
Again, it's your turn of phrase that kills me. The way you picture things, the analogies you make are so different but when I think about it, makes sense. I just can't read you without thinking 'poetic'.
So I'm not going to quote...okay, yes I am. You got me from the beginning with this: his hair as black as insomniac thoughts. Love it so much :)

May be weird, but those who can write stuff like this and still hold readers attention and on the edge of their seat, are the best. This is amazing. I just love the description of 'the tiger' and how Tom's reacting to him. I loved it to pieces. Very well done. VERY Well!!
