Sunday sounds fine, Saturday would be better but I can deal. I liked this chapter. It showed a lot of growth all around in the story, the writing was good, and it had a nice touch of humor. I particularly like the idea of Bill downloading how to speak all those languages. I wish I could to that.
Could Bill's system overload though? That could be a problem.
Tom will probably welcome a chance to go back to work but Bill won't like it.
I'm not sure how I feel about Soph gettin another modle to work. On one hand that's what they're after, on the other hand it could cause problems. One thing about Bill is he's capable of love. He loves Tom and he won't do anything to hurt him. These machines may be obedient at the moment but I can totally see an iRobot thing happening, maybe on a more minor scale.
I like that Tom's show signs of likeing Bill it's cute. Bill downloading porn... that'll be the day.
Bill matured a lot in this too. He's still got some childish characteristics but he's growing up. I could see it in the way he was talking.
I liked this a lot, regardless of what you said.

the code work to get a 'bot to just read human facial expression is horrifically complex, getting the processing power to do more has been a sticking point for years. Even with high end micro computers there is just so much that goes on in a human brain... it's going to take another tech leap to get anything close to a human size AI in a bot body...
