What an intense chapter. I swear every time you describe the creepy clown mask, and Tom coming face to face with it, I have to stop for a sec because I could just picture it and it creeps me the fuck out lol I thought that psycho with the mask was in the closet when Tom opened it...intense stuff.

I am so curios to know how the psycho knows Josh. I was thinking maybe a brother, boyfriend, or the father and Josh is actually Megan's little bro.

Okay, I need to stop and leave the detective work to Tom, I just really like this.

Okay so I has my suspicions about Josh, but now I am back to square one since he was in the office too watching what was happening to Bill.

I don't hate you at all.
This chapter was so fucking good that I don't mind the wait.

- I loved the way Tom acts when he goes out. He'd like to rush but he knows that if he doesn't play the game in the psycho's way, it's Bill who would pay it. So he does his best to draw attention.
- And then, he rushes. I don't know what I expected....But not such a plain and average place.
We see that someone live here but it's so liveless in the same time. It's so bare that we know there will be a room, one and only room that contrasts to it.
- Once more, i didn't expect that.
So much informations and pictures about the prévious case, Tom and Bill their lifes....and the links to Meagan....And then to Josh.
It doesn't suprise me but there is something insane and sick about this all.
The psycho and Josh are linked, Tom had a good instinct but like I already asked: is this link conscious from Josh'side? Is he a friend, a parent??? Is he linked to Meagan in such a way as well??...He sure know her intimely if he wants to avenge her....
I'm not sure but maybe what Tom found will help them to figure it out.
- The psycho is smart and well prepared and he knows Tom very well. I wonder if he has a weakness. I mean, he is always
a move ahead. I said he gives informations when HE wants to and it's planned. It isn't harmful to him. He tempts Tom with informations but destroy them before Tom can use them.
It's a game, he is the game master and i'm not sure he even considers Tom as an opponent, more as a pawn he can play with.
- Tom will can prove he was right for Josh and maybe they can have clues to bring them forward to Bill (depsite the psycho's advance) But I imagine that Chief Rothstein will not be pleased with Tom's actions.

- I wonder about the books in the house. Psychology, suicide, depression... Are they Josh's or do they belong to somebody else?
I'm sure they would have been a great help to Tom. Too bad! But he still has a paper. When he took it, I was adamant that it will be a good idea.
The books'theme is very important according to me but I can't imagine how.
Will you surprise me in the next chapter? Like always!!!!
There is so much things to come that I'm not sure the chapter 9 would cover them all.
Josh's confrontation with Tom after the latter's discoveries and the bruning house; Tom and the Chief; Some news about Bill ( I hope it will be without torture but it's only an hope); maybe a clue to solve this case....

Ps: I'm getting closer to the end in my translation of TBKM ( I published the chapter 12 last week) and I was wondering....
If you were writing this wonderful story NOW, would you have use songs of 'Humanoid' for the murders?
And if yes, which?
In german like the others you previoulsy used or in English, since the songs don't mean the same thing in the two languages?
I want to ask it to the readers in order to see if they would have made the same plot as you.

Author's Response: haha I'm going to leave you guessing about all of that and say wait till the next chapter comes out ;) I promise it will be out sooner than this one was now that I've gotten into an easier routine with uni!!!

rnAs for writing TBKM now...I probably would've used a few songs. Automatic, I would've done - I would've had the killer used electricity and computing in some way. And Human Connect to Human could've been a good one, like I did with Ich Bin Nich Ich. You're right though, because the german and english songs are so different, I would've had difficulty because I liked to keep to the German theme so it would've presented mroe of a challenge but certainly a fun one!! I liked to present a nice mix of the two albums, and if Humanoid had been out then, I definitely would've included at least a few titles.
