My God... I loved the ending, but my god... i have never read something this sad before in my life. God, i actually started crying when Tom explained what they did to bill and how he felt... Amazing Job.

T-T This story had me sobbing, literally. >.< I was SO CLOSE to disregarding your tissue warning at the beginning, and then you just tore all the happiness away with one word. O.O The writing for this was incredible. Everytime Tom remembers something, I feel like I'm watching a film play out. This story is amazing! I'm going to go back, reread it, and sob some more. :D;

Okay, now that I've stopped sobbing uncontrollably, let's try writing a review one more time.
The way you wrote this was just absolutley amazing. I could see and feel everything Tom was seeing and feeling. Every time he'd lose himself in thought, I got cold and couldn't stop shaking.
Good god, this STILL has me shaking. I don't think I could ever read this again, but I'm so glad I did. So glad.
Amazing work.

I generally avoid Character Death fics because ima huge sap and I hate to read about one of the boys dying. But my friend insisted that I read this because she told me how good it was, and ... WOW - was she ever right. I was bawling by the end. In complete and utter awe at how beautifully thus was written and sseriously about to rip my hair out when you ended with 'Darkness'. Its driving me insane. What happened. Was that all just a dream, that end bit where he saw him again?
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. It almost made me tear up to write it.Especially the end. That was a difficult decision. Originally, it was a happy ending. Bill miracuously coming back without no explanation, but as I thought it over I realised that I had to stay realistic. Tom looses his mind or dies...depending on your interpretation and the last part is his hallucination before it's over for him. Sorry...

I feel like I can't breathe, and I'm not sure I did through most of that.
Does it make any sense that sometimes something is so well-written that you almost don't notice you're reading a story? This was like a narrative you simply projected into my head, where it played out with all the colors, smells and sounds of a movie. And truthfully, while that made it better, it also made it so much worse.
You're right about this. It broke my heart. And I know I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time.

You were right to put a tissue warning on that.. It was beautiful in a way I can't even begin to describe. Stunning, you just sit there with tears running down your face because you can't tear your eyes away from the words.
Horrific, in the actions and the pain and the suffering- there really are so many things worse then death. Damnit, I dont think ive ever cried just writing a review! Amazing, so very, very amazing.
