i think it could get WAY more awkward. what about when the parents ask how long Alex and Tom have been dating, and Amanda and Bill have some sort of misunderstanding and soon everyone thinks Katarzyna and Georg are engaged, and then they discover that the food is terrible and are forced to order pizza, and then Alex trips over Bill's stripper boots on her way to the door to get the pizza from the delivery guy and disaster ensues.
