well this is definitely different from what i'm used to reading from the site. =) it seems like this fic is going to be long.
with the language thing, i think it's pretty much understood that if the characters hail from germany that they're speaking in german even though the text is in english. for me, unless the author establishes that the character came from/grew up in an english-speaking country, i interpret the whole thing as "happening" in german. heehee. so.. in what language is the italicized part supposed to be? (sorry if i didnt get it if you had stated it somewhere ^_^)
Author's Response: Lux - thanks so much for your review! Sorry, I forgot to clarify about the languages. The part in italics is supposed to be in English. Alex and Amanda are not German, they are American. I didn't explicity say it because I thought that I hinted at it when I said where they studied for school and when Tom made the comment about Alex's English. I am sorry if it was confusing; I will try to be more clear next time. Thanks again for the review!
