Wew, I litterally ate this story up. No matter how hard I squint at the screen, there just seems to be no flaw at all. I love the ending, way more satisfying than the prospect of Bill getting married with the Mara girl, becoming a mustached dad surrounded by a cluster of gingerkids. And the Georg part really had me snorting out invisible coffee. Hilariooouuuuuus. Sorta hoping for a following, but I guess overworking this would become sorta redundant...

omfg i dont even know what to say. i am literally shaking i was crying so hard in this last chapter. this is one of the saddest stories i have read on this site, and you know what, it was one of the best. ive never cried this hard while reading one of these stories.

OMFG DDD"X I WAS GETTING READY TO COME AFTER YOU WITH AN AX TO MURDER YOUUUU!!!!!! lol I almost cried again while I was reading this ;__: and I kept thinking "what the hell happened to Tom?!?!!?!?!?! He couldn't have disappeared!!!!! He HAS TO COME BAAAACKK!!!!!" and so I was practically on the verge of tears as I read the rest of this story and it just made me so sad DDD"X and then it made me so uberly angry that I wanted to strangle my room mate!!!! (just kidding lol) but really... ;__; it made me so angry and sad to know that Bill and Tom weren't together anymore and then when Bill thought he saw Tom, I was like O___O omg... TOMI???? And then you had the part of the story from Tom's POV and I literally jumped for joy XDDD and then they hugged and everythingggggg and I started crying again because I was so happy XDDDDD OMG!!!!! This was an amazing story!!!! O____O
._. even if there was a point that I wanted to murder you for making Tomi go away lol and then just the idea that Bill wanted to marry Mara >.> I felt like he was forgetting about Tom... but then you made everything better ^^

Random life fact, I was born with a twin who died at birth, and I've felt hollow for before I can even remember, so I know how Bill and Tom felt. As you can imagine, I cried when I read this, cried as a baby. Too emotional for my own good, but loved the story here.

I love it so far! It really reminds me of the Holocaust with the whole prison thing. I think that makes it really interesting though!

I think a part of me died inside when Tom fell off the edge of the train. And I felt like crying because they'd both been so close to freedom.
But after re-reading that whole bit, I noticed that it hadn't been a mortal wound, and I realized that Tom would live and do whatever he had to do so that he could find Bill again.
So as I was reading this last chapter, that romantic part of me was practically prancing inside, declaring that it would have a good ending. Good was a generic term.
The ending fit the story. It was stunning, and it tied everything together. It stated the obvious "Tom'll do anything to get back to Bill. Have faith in him."
It was cruel, ripping away that tiny bit of hope, but you wrote it nicely, and then gave it back ten-fold.
Wonderful story!! I applaud you!!!
