Whoa... I still dislike Andreas, but this was an emotionally complex chapter. It was over before it began it felt like (but all good ones are). Well at least Andreas was willing and able to make up for the horrific betrayal. Awesome job. I can't wait to read what happens next. I hope they make it!!!

Knew it. I freaking knew Andreas was going to betray them, but I didn't think it was going to be to this extent! I mean goodness gracious, they offered for him to come with them! What could the guards have offered to trump the prospect of freedom? You have me hooked, I must admit. Great job with dialogue, and the emotion was poignant without being overwhelming. I don't know how much more they can take before one of them is dead.
