The only thing I found a bit jarring was in such a short chapter you used a lot of overly affectionate handles for the characters. You know, like "his love" or "angel" etc. There's nothing wrong with that if you space it out and use those sparingly but too much in such a short time it takes away from the writing. But whatever, it's your fic, right? Just thought I'd throw my two cents in. I'm liking the pairing though, and the next chapter should be good with the cliffhanger you just ended this with.
