Okay, I'm not gonna give too long review, it's very late here and I'm sooo tired.
I just wanted to say that it's very very great idea you have in this story. Characters are nice (could be deeper, though) and their relationship is VERY cute to watch. But I could mention that I find the way how Tom accepted everything and how fast he fitted into "the future" quite unrealistic.
But you write nicely, and the text is easy to read. EXCEPT there is one thing you seem to always do, which really jumps on my face: "you was"/"you wasn't". Please pay some attention to conjugations and other grammar. If you don't have a beta, find one, if you do, you can transmit this comment to her/him.
("you were"/"you weren't")
That's all, don't take it all too harshly :) Just as an advice!
