Author's Response: Thank you! I wouldn't say the end of the world brings out the cowardice in anyone, just basic human emotions and the biological instint to survie. It's a scary thought, to know you're going to die most likely. Not a lot of real people could handle that, and I tried to impart that on my fictional representation of our favorite twins. Author's Response: I admit, I have this intense phobia of the world ending/zombies walking the earth/overall chaos engulfing mankind. I'm not sure where the fear comes from, but it's almost therapy to write stuff like this, and it lets me vent what I'm always worrying about.rnrnAh, so thank you for your kind words!

Oh, wow. This is...gorgeous. Just beautiful. The opening sentence was just phenomenal, and then the images throughout the rest of the piece...Man, I nearly cried at the ending.
The only thing that bothered me was the misspelling of 'lose'. But beyond that, I thought it was brilliant prose.
