This was incredibly vague and yet heart wrenching. But I'm just a sucker for any war story :( They always make me sad.
Author's Response: thank you. i tried to pull the loose-ends together toward the closing of the story. i hope it worked =] and i got the idea from reading ALL BUT MY LIFE by Gerda Weissman Klein, a survivor of the Holocaust. She wrote the book as a way of getting her memories out there so they're not weighing her down. If you haven't read it, you most definitely should.

I think more description and imagery; and a better sense of what the hell was going on, would make it better. It was a great start and I really think if you edit this you can make it even better. :)
