This is an interesting start, but you have a few misspelled words in your story that a beta needs to go over manually instead of using spell check.
For instance, the WEATHER outside shouldn't be spelled 'whether'. Also disserve should be spelled 'deserve'
A few other words are put in present tense when they should be in past tense. Your sentence structure is pretty decent, so just work on your spelling and your tenses, and you should have a decent story.

I probably should get a Beta, but that makes me feel even more pathetic with my writing because I'm not good enough to write it without it being still horrible that I need someone to go through it before I post. ^^ I'm weird like that. I'll make sure to look more carefully next time at how I'm spelling things. :) Thank you.
