If I recall correctly, every single one of those movies revolves around dancing and there being one boy and one girl (duh ,p) and a show or contest or something in the end. So yeah, my story might not be original, but at least those movies aren't either ,) thanks

I keep getting flashes of some cheesey dancing chick trying to get a gangster to dance properly. Especially the "Catch me!" part.
Not that i dont like it though....And I'm dying to find out what happens when Tom finds out Libby is actually Bill.
Author's Response: Step Up, Take the Lead, Save the Last Dance, Dirty Dancing, you name it girl, there are a lot of movies I had in mind when writing this. I didn't know which to credit though and considering my plot line is far from any of those I choose to just let people connect it to which ever they wanted ,) I think there's a 'catch me' in both Step up movies and maybe in Save the last dance 2, not sure. thanksies girl, hope you'll like what comes next!
