Aw, of course Bill came back. :) I'm sorry to say this, but in this story Bill didn't strike me as strong enough to just pick up and leave Tomi behind. No, that wouldn't happen. I could tell that. They're bound together. :D
And this chapter, sad, but sooo sweet. :)
I'm glad Nate actually tried to apologize. I mean, yes, he said the words, but then he just dug himself a deeper hole with that entire "forget that whore" statement. *blank stare* Nate is such a bitch. Is it wrong to call a guy a bitch? Fine, bastard. That better? Lol.
And the message on the answering machine... I don't know why, but those always seem like such a great ploy to use in stories and movies. They're always so sad. 'Cause you can hear the person's voice; you can play it over and over and over it again, but they're never there. It sucks. It just tears at your insides, really. It's a way to hold onto the memory of someone's voice forever, keeping a little piece of them with you, even after they leave. So sad.
BUT
Then Bill was there. Of course he'd be there. Did he actually think he could convince himself that he doesn't love Tomi? Is he CRAZY? Of course he loves Tom!! ^.^ Anyways, yeah, that was really sweet and adorable. :D I loved it.
I loved the whole story, actually. ;D Great job.
Can't wait to see what else you've got waiting to be written.
