Oh, dear, I'm at loss of words.
I'm totally transfixed right now.
I love the whole outline of the story and your narration skills. Every single detail, that is plastered in this story is so endearing and lived that I can absolutely picture the Maiden Lain shop, the boat swaying out in the see at 7:00 a.m., and even Bill's fish cake's sign. Everything is there.
I cherish Tom's character in here. He's so lovely and self detached, it hurts. And Bill, fantastic and dreamy Bill. I can totally imagine him dazing everyone with his singing every other night.
I absolutely like the settings and the imagery that only adds to an incredibly well constructed atmosphere. It is the 1920's, for anyone's sake! It was this and the fact that Tom wanted to become a writer that got me totally hooked up at the beginning (not to mention him being a fisherman, so Hemingway-ish as it is).
I know this story has been on hiatus for a little while and I just wanted to thank you anyway, for sharing this incredible five chapters. I really enjoyed them a lot and I'm glad I came across this story!

Oh, no, where's the next button !? I very attached to this story, I really hope you'll continue it some day cause it deserves to be completed... I decided to read this story cause I was since forever for something good to read but didn’t find anything that caught my eyes. I came across this one and decided to read it even if it's not completed since I absolutely love all of your stories and that’s the only one I haven’t read. I really like the first chapter and I’m sad to see that this fic has been on hiatus for a while now. I hope you’ll find the inspiration to finish it someday, if you do, I’ll be there for sure to read it !

I really wish you'd keep writing this fic. I've followed it from the beginning and I've even read it twice. I love everything about it. You have the plot and the setting down pact. It’s beyond any other fic I’ve read on this site. I was really bummed when I realized you weren’t updating it anymore. I understand how it feels to get writer's block and not being able to finish something once you've started it but I hope you can consider that this really is an awesome fic and it would be greatly appreciated if you continued it =]

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. :) I actually have the future chapters all outlined (my friend Clare has written them for the story) but I've just had a difficult time getting myself into the feel of the story for awhile. My writing has been on and off for about a year now, and when the muses come, I take them however I can get them. Sadly, there hasn't been many muses for this fic. D: I love the idea, though, so I hope I'll finish it since the plot is already figured out and everything. Thanks again!
