wow. I'm... wow. I went into this wanting some angst and emotional pain, and came out of it with the most amazing victorious feeling... you took me all the way from giddiness to heart-crushing pain to frustration to... this. it's like standing on top of a mountain you just climbed, watching teh sun rise above the mist below you, knowing that you got here, you made this possible... simply awe-inspiring.

Ah, I forgot to add more 'issues' I had with the story.
1) The trial happened too quickly and too soon. There should have been months of preparation for the trial rather than the few short days that were in the story.
2) I'm not lawyer but I don't think you can turn yourself in for a crime you were cleared of.
3) There weren't enough physical signs on Bill (e.g.bruises) that he was violently raped.
4) They would have given him a more thorough medical examination as opposed to merely blood tests at the hospital.

Thank you for sharing this story with us. I really enjoyed it and felt that your portrayal of Bill after the rape and Tom & David's subsequent reactions it were very realistic.
I'm a psychology major and know some people that have been raped and I have to say that Bill'sthoughts and behaviour were what you would normally expect from a rape victim albeit a more resilient one.
However,there were some thing in the story that really bothered me.
First there was the lack of interaction between Bill and his parents. She was only mentioned in passing and it's impossible that she wouldn't have heard about what happened and unbelievable that she wouldn't contact her sons after finding out.
Was this something you just overlooked or...?
Also, Gustav and Georg do have friends outside the band & I find it hard to believe that they would not find out about what happened from either these friends or through the media. They're not completely closed off from the world.

Amazing story. I enjoyed reading it very much. The whole thing was really realistic. The ending was perfect. I loved the courtroom part I thought it was really well done and the suspense was killing me. Tom and David were my favorite characters though. Tom was so caring, the way he talked to Bill would have me saying "Aww".

Wow. Who know that a crack plot search could lead me to this? I have to say bravo at this fic. Good accuracy, exemplary grammar skills, and consistent details all combine to create such a heart-touching story. They way you wrote this make me feel like I was feeling the same pain as Bill, as well as getting the closure he needed. Very well done.

Absolutely adored your story and loved what you did with David. You wrote him as strong fatherly figure without crossing the lines and I applaud you. I always have a soft spot in my heart for David.
Definitely made me cry and laugh and this is by far one of the best stories I've read on here.

Despite the parings listed there was very little sex or “friendly” sexual content. However I do appreciate the warning and I understand that some readers freak out when they discover a momentary paring even if it’s not explicit.
Ok now on to my real feelings about this story…*clears throat* then *coughs and hacks (just to make a point to make sure you are really paying attention)* ;) It was an awesome story. Very well written, with great dialogue, character development, and strong storyline. The painful moments were spectacular. I hurt for Bill, my heart broke for him when he would put himself down. I wanted to pull him aside and have the bathroom conversation with him earlier. To “watch” him go though this process was perfectly painful and deliciously depicted.
I have two comments that won’t make a different to the story but they are things that bothered me a bit…2) the trial almost the same week as the rape? Wouldn’t happen ever just about anywhere in the world. It takes months for trials to take place at least 6 months. There would have been time to take him to the hospital in that week, because although the sperm would be gone after about two days the rips and tares from the rape would have been evident…you could have had him go to the hospital and still have it thrown out in court because it’s still a he said/he said kind of thing. There were no witnesses which came forward to dispute either parties side.
2) I was a little disappointed with the ending. I fell like you coped out and had it be a “happy ending” yeah I know he was still raped and he still had to deal with the out come but it looked like it was headed towards an ending with discord and although I love a happy ending as much as the next reader you were so perfect with accuracy with the rest of the story I could have been happy with an “unhappy ending”. Bushido could have written an apology song and put it out in the world to say sorry to Bill but not have turned himself in. Which would have added to Bill’s struggle towards normalcy but he could have still made it there…Also even if Bushido turned himself in I don’t think he could have been charged something about double jeopardy and not being able to be charged for the same crime twice even if you turn yourself in. Because if you get off once then you are off for good.
Despite my little issues it was a very well written story that will stay on my favorites list.

It made his heart feel lighter, just thinking about any of them paying for what they had done. – that’s kind of satisfying in it’s own way.
“You were taken advantage of, and what happened was out of your control. You did nothing to deserve it, even if you still feel otherwise. None of it was your fault. What they did was wrong, and after all of this over, they may or may not pay for it. You have to be ready to accept both outcomes.” He whispered to his reflection, seeing the expression starting to falter and break up in front of him. His eyes were starting to grow warm, but even if he cried, he wasn’t going to look away. “So many people are behind you, though. Tom, David, Georg, Gustav, Andreas, your mother, your step-father, all of your fans…they are all standing behind you, can’t you see them?” – thank you Bill for sitting down and having this conversation with yourself!
