its very interesting to me to go back and read this. I loved it the first time around. I still love it, and its still one of the better fics on this site. But its just worlds below your more rent stuff. Your quality of writing has just grown tremendously. Being able to compare this story to your current ones really shows just how much. You write better than most ppl who have published books. If you ever write your own stuff, please let me know. Not that I am in any way encouraging you to stop the wonderful writing you are doing now. =)

this fic was really good, you are truly talented. i only have one remark: you keep confusing "past" (an adverb, as in "he walked past me") and "passed" (a verb, as in "he passed me")

omg. im all teary. im really sorry i didn't comment more, but i was way too engrossed to pause to think of something to say that would be half worthy....this story was beautiful and heart wrenching and I loved it. you are an amazing writer, and i might just be able to work up the courage to read obloquy now...tho i avoid major character death like the plague. thanks for this lovely story :)

This is possibly the greatest fic I've read on this site.
I'm not sure. Let me break it down.
-THE greatest post-rape or post-trauma fic I've read
-pure fluff and PWP are really totally different categories
-AU is also totally different, so
-one of the best realist fics
-one of the best and most convincing portrayals of that insanely confusing Bill-Bushido dynamic, and Bushido himself
-great awesome LOVE-inspiring portrayal of Jost. That's the man I see. Protector figure, good man, hard worker.
-great twin dynamic - that's the most convincing version of twincest, where it's just a natural aspect of their relationship, not either of them NEEDING the sexual side, just something they can do together because they are so close that there is nothing they can't do together
-great plotline, great mix of introspection and action, really draws out the reader's emotions, fantastic descriptive ability
-very VALUABLE fic, which is quite rare. Most fics are pleasant but serve no purpose. This one spoke directly to the fans reading it, without pandering - and I would bet a huge amount of money that one of the many readers has herself or himself suffered sexual assault, and the message conveyed here is powerful and supportive. Good work.
