3 days. That's how long it took me to read both stories. I absolutely loved the world you created here.
Everything about it was amazing. I couldn't stop reading. I was so into it. I absolutely loved the illustrations in each chapter. It definitely added something to the story. I honestly have no words to tell you how unbelievably amazing this story was. It was phenomenal. Definitely going into my favorites.

but I don't want it to be over for realz!!! This story line is so good!I loved it so so so sehr. i am most aggreved to see it go. maybe one day you will write it some more?...a question thouugh...what makes someone an infadel? I mean what makes them different than the Neb Vertas...Jorg made very deragatory comments about Bill being religious and it didnt seem to be his Devoutness that did it it as hte religiousnss in general. Even Tom said he didnt really believe in the gods.
Author's Response: The Neb Vertas is the "New Thought," made up of atheists and scientists, are still from this region, and are still raised in this religious custom with its traditions (even if they don't believe in the reasons behind them anymore). Infidels actually worship separate gods. Hope that helps!

I have read this story and pondered about replying. On the surface it reads as a cute love story, some not very well done action, and pretty good paced story telling. But then as usual I ponder stories. Something about yours just didn't sit right with me. I took some time, thought about it, and then put it to the back of my mind. But now that it has come back to the forefront I figure it's time to drop a review.
One, I am completely disgusted by the misogyny of this story. The only purpose women seem to have in this story is to either a) pop out babies or b) cause drama between the ~*OmG BiLlA&ToMi 4everrrr!!!11!!*~ Why this offends me so much is that it applies to what happens in the real world. You have taken every negative gender stereotype about women and put that in this story. You don't even seem to acknowledge the fact that these women are living, breathing human beings. I'm used to seeing misogyny in fanfiction. Women are either written as bitchy whores that exist to create drama or the best friend one's out there to help their "totes gayyy BFF" find his soulmate, the "fag hag" if you will. What seems to bother me so much about your story in particular is the fact that everyone praises it as this "great work of art" or "this story is perfect!" It is far from perfect, it relies on stereotypes, the degradation, and complete sub-humanization of women. I would never want to live in a world like this where all women do is pop out babies and live for sex from "teh osum TomI," too much of that already goes on in the real world.
Second I'd also like to address a fact I find interesting. You said in your author spotlight that you disliked it when people wrote a girly Bill. Which I find highly ironic considering that is what is written into this and most of your stories. I would like to see you write a realistic Bill that doesn't rely on tired stereotypes and perhaps doesn't demonize women as you so often seem to do.

Just saying.
I'm translating it. And it took me TWO WEEKS to finish a 2153 words prologue. It's devastating.
I love you two for the story, hate you for the heartbreaking feeling that will never leave me. But still, I love you even more for that. A story doesn't work if it leaves you nothing.
I tought I couldn't hate Andreas more. Guess what? I was wrong. Even after all this time, it's worse. I've wanted him dead from the first two lines of the prologue. This translation really IS gonna kill me. Repent =P
