Needless to say, in my last review for This Hour's Duty I mentioned in so many words the feeling that there was more to the story than the ending gave. Ten minutes later, I found this second story. And all I can think of is "Oh, Tom... How /could/ you?"
All credit to see that Jorg had a heart after all, even as I wished for a less traumatic way for Bill. :(
Umetnica's illustrations are incredible and really convey the tone of the each chapter well. I love looking at each one as I read!

I can't... I'm in tears. I've been dreading this for long time, because every time I tried to read it, I'd end up in agony. Now I finally decided to finish it, and here I am. I loved it. It was so full of emotion, it was... Overwhelming. The end was perfect, and all I wish is that I could keep reading, I don't even know how to express how incredibly well written and awesome this is! I guess I'll be re-reading it soon, very soon. Thank you for writing such a great story. If it were to be published, I'd more likely buy it!

god this is so deeply emotional, like i'm feeling a thousand things at once with bill...amazing job of that, i can honestly say i've felt every emotion in my heart that bill has, and that even bushido and tom have, which is just testament to the greatness of the storytelling
