This story made me feel sad. It was just so sad. Tom being abused by is good for nothing father, beaten up at school. Sure he met and got together with Bill but then Bill left and it was just really sad again. I liked it though. Hope you do the sequel soon.

I have to say, i was just lurking around the site, and found this. it is my favourite one-shot to date. i love it. and cannot wait to read the sequel, because this ending made me sad, and i love happy endings. but this was amazingly well written and very inspiring.

Author's Response: yay! =D and as for the sequel, I'm working on the story plot (one aspect of it has me slightly stumped and it's necessary for me to figure it out before I can continue) but! yes, EVENTUALLY they will be together. It wouldn't be a good story unless there was some kind of conflict, now would it? It will take place around three years after Different so there is obviously going to be some obstacles. I hope you stick around to read it! =)
