You did a great job w/ this. I can't believe it's your baby, it's so well written I didn't know (and I've read enough stories here that I can usually tell). That's a compliment btw. You are a great writer and this story was phenominal.
One thing at the end though, do they have to run away? I mean, they'll be 18 so there's not much to worry about right? Other than money, and earning a living, and finding somewhere to live... a lot actually.
Anyway sequel would be fun, if you're not overly motivated (I don't know, I just know some authors promise sequels and then write like two chapters and leave me going nuts) you could write a short sequel, like two or three chapters w/ time skips or something just to follow up. Or maybe you've got the next stage of their live planned out in a 20 chapter story IDK, but I look forward to whatever comes!
