Author's Response: It's confusing, hmm? Well, it's not the first time I've heard that, and with the way things have been headed in the outline of the future chapters, it certainly won't be the last. Author's Response: Ack! Please don't die! I don't think that'll work out in my favor. And anyways, I'd planned to update over Christmas break, but my computer caught a small virus and I lost a good third of my stories, DttW being one of them. I have a small chunk of the chapter on paper somewhere in my locker at school, and maybe even a bit typed up on the school database... But nothing here at home. So, I've gotta do some major searching and hope I find it. Otherwise, it might take a good month or two to rewrite all of this story that I've lost.rnrnI'm terribly sorry! Please forgive me! :(

Author's Response: I'm so sorry!! I've been house sitting with my friend for her grandparents, and everything for the second chapter is at my mom's house saved ot the computer there. In the past week, I haven't gone home ecept once, and that was because I had to go and be a freshman peer (tor)mentor. x3 But I fully plan on spending some time on DttW before school starts up on the 12th.

You're welcome! Usually what I do is work ahead till I have a few chapters, then go back and find the ending point I want for a chapter. I find that I end up putting in perfect places to close it on without realizing. And then I already have a jumpstart on the rest of the story, and I can stay ahead of what I post.
I'm really glad you posted this story, and I hope you post more of your stories as well!

Author's Response: Actually, I was so nervous that while I was writing the first chapter, I also wrote a page of rules to keep myself in line. Some I did change completely while others were merely adapted to fit. I'm glad you like it, thanks for your imput!

Author's Response: I'm so pleased that you like this. Heck, I'm pleased that people like this. I wasn't even sure I wanted to post this chapter. I spent three days on the chapter, and on the second day I ended up getting side-tracked on an ending. Usually, I write an ending that I'll never attain, then I never post the story itself. I know it's strange, but it's just how I work. But now, the ending seems to have motivated me! (Quite odd, I know.) But whatever works. I hope to have chapter 2 up by next Wednesday. Thanks bunches. =3
