OH-MY-GOD! I'm still processing this unexpected, yet so "adorable" ending. This is the second time I get so connected to a fanfic, let me confess. Since I read the very first chapter I said: "Gosh, I'll definitely get addicted to #815" and so I did hihi :D When you stopped uploading new chapters, I freaked out.Thought you had forgotten it or whatever. I loved this final chapter, indeed. For a moment I burst into tears when they murdered Bill. Ahhh, can't express with words how much I love it, really. I think Tom and Bill deserved to have a kind of happy ending after all the pain they went through. In my opinion, this is one of the best fics EVER! I wish you all the best, keep writing in this amazing way! Lots of love, light and good vibes

It was honestly amazing beginning to end! (Even though I had to read through it more then once to actually remember what was happening between updates! XD)
I’m really happy with the way this ended, it seemed to suit the story. I was a bit scared that the ending would be super sad but the slightly bittersweet is perfect!
This fic was well worth the wait!!

My gosh... *tears up* I've been lovingly following this since the summer of 2009, and just... *flutters hands and chokes up* I'm at a loss for words.
Let me just convey the ultimate gratitude to you for writing this moving epic of a fic, and for finishing it. I cried twice during this chapter alone, and I don't even know how many times over the course of the rest of the story.
Dear lord, like Tom, I wasn't expecting Bill to be so pissed and soul-deep reluctant about it all -- though I expected him to be sort of mad -- and I feared so much that it would all end in Tom's apartment ;_; As it is, it drove/drives me crazy that Bill actually pulled the trigger. I can easily see that haunting Tom (and Bill?) for a very long time...
This whole thing was heart-wrenching, and maybe someday soon I'll get up the emotional courage to read it all again! :')
So thank you, thank you, thank you. *heart*
[edit] Forgot to say that, among others here, I too am very pleased with this ending ^^ I didn't expect it, but honestly it was wonderfully realistic. Bittersweet, but I loved it. Congrats on crafting it this way :)

It's AWESOME! I love it!! just the ending I imagined. I was crying all the time, out of sadness, luckiness, desperation...and a lot of other emotions :D
and I really really would welcome a sequel! ;) it would be interesting to see them both acting in the real life. to see how bill get's better step by step. to see the relationship betwenn them grow more an more, in every way ;)
If you write a sequel or not...I love you already for writing this story. and really - it's the best story I've every read.

after reading this chapter, honestly? i was a bit disappointed .each one of the 46th chapters were absolutely amazing , and after all the wait , i expected this chapter to be something incredible . but... it wasn't like your writing... it was like someone else wrote it. sorry for the harsh criticism.

Wow. This story was so perfect from beginning to end. Where can I even begin with the praise? I'm one of those readers that isn't very diligent about leaving reviews, but I certainly couldn't pass up leaving a review for the ending of a story. I can't imagine how much willpower and imagination and talent this story took you to write.
The ending was fantastic, too. You're right that you won't be able to please everyone, but you certainly pleased me. I'm a fan of endings that are little more realistic, though I admit that I still like them to be somewhat positive. And I think this one fit both of those things. Bill has been convinced he's going to die and that he deserves it for so long that he probably can't imagine why someone would work so hard to let him live. And on top of that, he was so sure he would feel the needle pierce his arm and then never wake up. Opening his eyes and seeing Tom's face must have felt like a huge slap in the face after all those mixed emotions leading up to it. I think eventually he'll forgive Tom, and a part of him is grateful, but it's going to take him time to come to terms with the sudden change of events and the knowledge that someone cares for him so much. But Tom seems to understand that as well and will be patient.
I think the story ends with a promise of a better future, filled with a lot of ups and downs. It was a beautiful story with a beautiful future. And if you ever feel the need to write a one shot or two, I can guarantee that you will have readers.

Oh my gosh this was the best surprise to reserve at 1:30am. I was beginning to worry you were never going to update but thankfully you proved me wrong. I loved the way you ended the story. It was exactly how I picture it to happen that includes the bittersweet ending. The reason I believe a bittersweet ending is better than the happy ending is because, Bill and TOM are now fugitives and they can't have a normal life but they can make the best of it all they can do is try. So yea I also wanted to tell you this fix was introduced to me by a friend and I am glad she showed it to me because it's my favorite fan fix out of all the ones that I have read. You did a great job with the story I hope to read more stories written by you. :)

Bill is not innocent, he committed a crime and deserved to pay for it. But he did, years of imprisonment and repentance. Never thought he deserved the death penalty. That way, I could not be happier because this is exactly the ending I expected. You wrote this whole story so well, you made me feel many types of emotion so I felt a little attached to this history. And it taught me not to judge both the people who pay for their actions, because you never know what motivated the person committing it (It may be a sick mind, it may be the weight of circumstances). The things are not black or white, I realized.
So thank you for having finished this fanfic. Thanks for this end that I consider fair.

First of all I'd love to thank you for sharing with us this pure and unique gem. It is surely one of the most moving, stunning and captivating fiction out there. One of my favorite ones as well.
It entraps people, when you start to read it you just cannot stop.. you always want to know more and more about Bill, Tom and their bizarre story. We could also call it love story, one of those who's not full of honeyed words but totally full of little things that makes you understand how much they love each other. Bill is the one who looks reluctant the most but you can see that he loves Tom as much as Tom, in first person, does. The 'I love you' was unessential; words sometimes are unessential.
Talking about the ending.. wow. It left me speechless. I would never ever have thought about this way of making this fiction end. In my personal opinion it's suitable. It makes you with opened mouth. Let's say it surprises you ( just all all the chapters). A cool end for a cool story.
Being honest, I would love a little epilogue... Just to see them in their own space of freedom, I'd love to see them acting like a almost-normal couple. I'd LOVE to see them living just with their little strong love.
Please, don't stop writing. I bet you could give us other amazing gems.
