.... Did I seriously miss the ending?! What the hell, how did that happen? I didn't know, until about three hours ago, that this story was finished! O_o This changes everything! D: But what.... Oh well! This was awesome, I loved it!
Of course a few tears rolled down my face, I knew - or hoped - that Tom had something planned, but the scene was so emotional and ugh! Couldn't help myself, it was heartbreaking!
I really loved the ending. I loved Bill's reaction. Like, yes sure what Tom did was lovely and it was a kind thing to do but at the same time it was stupid! They're going to be on the run for a long time now, probably forever... And well, as much as I love the idea of Tom and Bill running away together, Tom really didn't think this through. What if they get caught? Then both of them will end up in jail.
I don't mean to be rude, cause I loved the ending - this story is so original!! But, maybe Bill wanted to die? Why didn't Tom think of that? I know he cares a lot about Bill, but if Bill doesn't learn how to cope, how to live with himself, how is he going to be FREE? So I can understand why Bill reacted the way he did. Maybe dying, at that point, was a salvation or something?
or maybe I'm just weird and I'm overanalyzing XD
Still, all that put aside,and even though I understand if Bill might want to die, I love that he didn't anyway! Let's hope no one catches them, and let's hope Bill learns how to leave with himself :) ^^

Wow...just wow. I just finished this story and I'm in the worst state I've been in for a long while. Snot is running down my face, I can barely read for all the tears in my eyes. But damn this was a fantastic read. I can't thank you enough for crafting such an incredible tale.

Beautiful.
Being able to evoke emotion in one's audience is perhaps the most powerful and fulfilling things an artist can do. Congratulations. You have plucked every heart sting and strung them into a masterful symphony. It's not easy to do, and it takes a great deal of skill, patience, and dedication. All of which, you quite clearly possess.
Now that I'm older, and in college, I've had less time to look at this web site. But coming back and seeing that this story was not only updated, but completed. You can't imagine my happiness. Fewer people, and many with less talent (let alone grammatical skills *winces*) have been writing, perhaps because it's been so long since they released an album. So I'm quite happy to see some good writing, and moreover that one of my favorite authors, and one of my all time favorite stories, with phenomenal writing skills to boot- is still active. I always keep an eye on my favorites, and I'm glad you didn't give up. I hope to see more from you in the future. Best of luck in your future endeavors, and thank you. It's truly been a pleasure.

I finished reading this a while ago but didn't know what to say or how to express what I felt afterwards. So here goes nothing... I hardly ever get emotional at movies let alone fanfics, but this made me Irritated, Lose my mind, Weep, Annoyed, Go crazy, Get freaky, Curse the stars and moon, Smile, Laugh, Get heart palpitations, Excited, And just down right Cry til I had no more to shed. Thank You Thank You Thank You. Not just for the amazing characters or the awesome scene setting or even the heart renching one liners and amazing feels, But for the beautiful story, the heart that was shown and the realism all us readers felt during and even after we read your amazing masterpiece! When I finished reading the last chapter I was so happy that I didn't leave a review to tell you how much I love you for writing this story and let us reading it. I'm actually re-reading it because it turned out to be quite inspiring during the last three days and I wanted to tell you that I'm grateful I read it. Seriously.
It would be a big surprise to see a new story from you, but I know that I can't ask for it so soon after the ending of this big story...Just keep in mind that some of us would read anything from you, now I know how emotional a story can be.

I started reading this when it was still a WIP. Then, due to a lot of personal issues, I didn't have the time to spend as much time on this site as I used to, and bit by bit I actually abandoned this site. Until one day I heard a song that reminded me of this story. So I came back and read the rest of the story. It is truly an amazing story you’ve written. Very good work! But I actually wanted to tell you about the song I heard. It’s called “Better Than Yourself (Criminal mind part 2)” by Lukas Graham.
He’s a Danish recording artist (I’m from Denmark) and he wrote it to a friend of his who is I prison.
The song is based on Beethoven’s moonlight sonata, it’s a powerful ballad and there are a few lines in the song that specifically made me think of your story. Like: “I know that you deserve the time you’ve got of all the people, I know you never bend, even in the strongest wind, I really wish to every god that you were innocent…” and “I accept you as you are, no I don’t need the truth…” and also “You’d rather stay in hell, and take your time in jail, they’re only punishing a soul that you will never sell…” and a lot more from that song. You really should listen to it. It’s beautiful. I’ll see if I can put a link in here, but I’m not sure it’ll work. But it’s on YouTube if you want to hear it. Again, beautiful story and an amazing job you did with this one. Love from Denmark. :)

Hi. So this is my first and last review. I started to read this yesterday, read it all day long but couldn't finish. I was thinking about the sequel all night and today I continued. I have to say that I honestly was shaking after every chapter! I love TWC and I love this prison theme, so I was really excited about this story. And as the story moved forward, as got closer to the final chapter... I became more and more excited and nervous and terrified and I almost couldn't finish the last one. I just cried and cried so hard... I usually cry this hard after a movie with a death of a puppy, I've never cried while reading a story. But I'm so happy I found this story! And more happy because I found it after you finished it. This story is so developed, so well-written, maybe not so realistic but I don't care because this isn't the point. The point is Tom and Bill and I really liked the way as their relationship developed and got closer, attached to each other. Oh my God. This story is fantastic, I think I won't be able to think of anything else for a week at least. And I hope you don't mind if I translate this story in my own language. I know that many people would interested here. Last words. Thank you so much. For writing, for finishing this stupendous story. Ps.: I missed they say "I love you" but never mind. As you might be able to see from my profile, there already are quite a few translations of this and I was actually not going to allow more. This is mostly because the last couple of days I have been having some problems with translators not crediting properly and then having someone else steal it and reuploading it elsewhere without my permission. Yes to what Tom did to get Bill out. I'm sorry if it was meant to be more of a surprise. Bill's reaction for some reason surprised me but it somehow feels right, him being that difficult. The tension all the way to the end was great, it really held my attention. Tom's nerves and emotions throughout the last day was completely nervewracking to read, so well done on that!! I would have wished a bit to see them get to the place Tom bought to have them relax, but then one gets the sense that wasn't needed, that they would somehow be okay.
Thank you for finishing an excellent story.
Author's Response: Thank you! rnSome people would saw it as a surprise and some didn't. That depends on how well people pick up hints and such, I am fine with both! I first tried to have Bill's reaction be something different but it didn't seem right, it was just awkward. rnrnIf I find a way to do it well I might write a short epilogue, but we'll see.

This story seems to have gained a life beyond here as it was via a video trailer and a few mentions that lead me here first sometime ago, and I must admit, I envy your journey. This has so far, been an amazing story. The characterisation is rich, the details consistent with no sense of rushing to forward the plot that you sometimes feel with some stories.
I'm about to find out what happens and already I think I guessed it, so I'll see if I'm right or not soon. Tom's dream though, made my heart nearly stop and I was for a moment scared to read more, so involved I felt.
Thank you for this wonderful work I'm about to finish. My review may be late, but I hope, better than never.

Since I like Tokio Hotel, which means a long time ago, I've read a lot of stories about this subject. And your story is obviously one of my favourites ! Because you created a new universe, with lot of characters who have such deep stories, such deep lives and such deep emotions that I could think they're real. I've read since the first to the last chapter of this fic, and I'll say : I'm really sad this story ended but thank you for all those feelings you have given to me during all the story ! You deserve the fans and all the readers you have, because your way to write is so... Indescriptible ! The end make me blow with relief, because on the 46th chapter, I really believed Bill would die and Tom would never be happy again. So thank you for your wonderfull fanfiction and I wish you all the luck in the world :D
