i cant decide if this fic kidnapped my heart, broke it or both. i cried so hard during the half of last chapter and the last one, the ending being so bittersweet-stinging for my fluff-centred brain, but i actually loved it very much. the fic itself was posted for the first time 3 days after i was born, so it feels like a 15-years late "being-born" present (its so weird being in a fandom and reading its fics that are older than me). thank you

So, kinda funny - just when all that chaos dropped in the discord about the army of silly tiktok children trying to wipe out twincest, I had JUST got done reading this for the first time- like AS the conversation was happening I was reading the last chapter. I lol’d at your low key horror at your review comments haha…. (I just didn’t review until now because I do them in batches). But yeah I’ve been on this site for about a year and a half (mentioned previously I had no idea who TH was until Jan’22) and had a BA-JILLLLION fics tracked, like holy crap. It took forever to finally read this even though its site-famous. Of course I totally loved it. There’s nothing I can say that wasn’t already said, and I agree with nearly all of it lol. I’m glad this is still around for new readers to find =)

Je ne sais pas si tu passes encore sur ce forum et si tu lis les avis qui y sont laissés mais je ne peux pas juste rester silencieuse après t'avoir lue. Alors je choisis de laisser ce commentaire dans l'espoir que tu le verras un jour.
J'ai littéralement adoré cette histoire. Je l'ai même dévorée.
Au-delà du contexte, ce sont tes personnages qui m'ont avant tout transportée. Tu soulignes à plusieurs reprises que cette histoire est une fiction et que tout n'est pas juste. Et c'est vrai. Mais peu importe car le plus intéressant dans cette histoire, c'est Bill. Ce personnage est merveilleux. Du début à la fin, tu es parvenue à rester fidèle à sa personnalité. Aucune fausse note de ce côté. Le Bill du début et le Bill de la fin est identique. J'aurais détesté qu'il devienne doux et mielleux, voire normal. Il est là avec sa folie, sa personnalité atypique, ses peurs et ses démonts. Ce n'est pas un ange, loin de là. Il est froid et calculateur. Mais malgré tout, malgré ses défauts et ses crimes odieux, on s'attache à lui. Jusqu'au bout j'ai cru qu'il allait mourir, j'ai retenu mon souffle. Et j'aime tellement cette fin où les mots "je t'aime" ne sont jamais prononcés.
Tom aussi est intéressant. Il est touchant et plus fort qu'il n'y paraît. Il aime Bill dans tout ce qu'il est et on sait qu'il l'aimera toujours et inconditionnellement. Il est animé de cette passion, de ce désespoir et de cette force que seul un amour véritable peut créer. Il sauve Bill coûte que coûte, au risque de le voir partir après tous les sacrifices qu'il fait, au risque de tout perdre.
J'aurais tellement aimé avoir une suite à cette histoire...
En tout cas, merci pour ce merveilleux moment de lecture. J'ai fait le tour des fictions françaises qui en valent la peine. Je suis ravie d'avoir débuté mes découvertes anglaises par ton histoire.

I do not know if you allow it but I would like to know if I could have your authorization to adapt one of your stories, I am a fan of one of them from the first chapter you did, I fell in love with the story and all its development and end. Hey :)Just wanted to say that I love your fanfiction and that even though there were some scenes that were really sad before, the one where Toms mother talked to Bill finally brought me to tears. I am looking forward to continue reading, but I fear it will get sadder in the next chapter, so I will just continue tomorow so I can go to bed happily. Leí los primeros capítulos en español hace tanto tiempo y recién ahora pude leer la historia completa aquí, mi ingles es malo, pero estoy feliz de haberlo hecho.
Fue maravilloso, lloré bastante y crucé dedos para que al final algo, cualquier cosa ocurriera para que ellos tuvieran tan solo una oportunidad de sobrevivir, el final fue perfecto, ahora con otras identidades y muy lejos de su tierra natal, pondrán curar heridas y aprender a vivir juntos.
