So being in a whole another time zone has screwed me up hella bad, but one thing remains constant: I love this story.
And, also, OMG cliffhanger! D:
I don't have time for a long review because my internet is a whore -- correction, my neighbor's internet is a whore, I'm stealing it for the time being until I can get mah own -- but aaw, bitter!resigned!normal!Bill. D: He makes me wibble. And not in the good way. I think its time for Tom to sex the weirdness back into him, yes it is. :3
Lots of things I like about this chapter, but I think I like the Simone-Bill interaction the most, which is odd considering there wasn't anything direct at all. I just thought you guys played everything out very realistically - Simone *did* lose her cool and she *did* go a bit far, but it makes her human. And I think she's bound to feel guilty and try to make it up to Bill somehow later on (hah, telescope, I was right) and it made it easier for me to see their conflict impartially since the chapter was in Tom's POV, because he sees both sides. I think Bill's reaction is normal for one so abnormal as himself, though the resignation hurts a bit to read.
"the other was something that wasn't going to be leaving." Love that line; it says a lot about Tom's commitment to Bill that he thinks it that way. And that reminds me of how I appreciate the fact that you didn't jump into their relationship because the change in Bill's personality was a more important topic to discuss.
And, um, um, aaagh! So many things I want to discuss. This is why I hate leaving reviews when I don't have time to look things through carefully, but I'm backed into a corner here. And I figured I should let Froggamuffin know I was still alive. :3
(Enjoyed the Hints in this chapter too, btw. Going on my List they are.)

I don't want Bill to be normal. =o I liked his endless talk about aliens and what not. =[ It was adorable and I think Tom should say something. >=[ Being normal is boring and Bill knows it. >=o I hope things aren't going to stay this way. This chapter was so depressing I almost cried.

We are going to leave that up to the readers imagination. Let's just say it was something very, very bad. Probably something a lot like throwing a jar of mud on a bitchy old English teacher.
