Author's Response: Um, I didn't so much have time to hunt them all down, so I just pulled two examples I remembered:
From chapter 4: One drink put him in that zone, where everything he said was magical and everything he did was perfection.
Well, that was all the time.
Anything more and he'd go limp, like he was trained to do, and eventually black out. Then the memories would come and he couldn't have that, now could he?
From chapter 5: He didn't like feeling smothered. It made him feel seven years old again.
There are others, you simply have to read and not skim.

This story was captivating and moving. I followed Bill through out his days and his life and felt like I was a silent observer. I loved the highs and hurt at the lows. If only real life could work out this perfectly. It was a beautiful story and so good it made me ache a little on the inside. I want someone to send me glue too!

Trust me when I say I really, really want to leave you this long, detailed review about what exactly drew me into this fic and what parts were my favorites and what I didn't like and all that jazz.
But I'm just so overwhelmed by the amzingness I've read that I can't. It was all great. I couldn't stop reading. I was so sad when I had to leave after chapter three to go to class, and as soon as I came back I was immediately reading again. Everything flowed so well. The sex was hot. The plot was interesting. The abuse was unexpected, but not unanticipated, and very well portrayed. I loved your Bushido. And your Tom. If I could write like you, that's how I would've portrayed both of them. Ugh. it was just so good. I feel like a horrible reviewer, because none of this is constructive. It's pretty much one long babble. But dude - I really enjoyed reading this. I'm gonna have to go see what else you've written that I've missed.

Okay, is it awful that I looked up Just a Gigolo after reading the first chapter and then playing it on a loop until I was done reading? :P
I liked this story a lot. 8) I don't like it as much as I liked the Unfurl series - personal issues, mostly - but it was still pretty awesome.
(Also; changing room sex? But won't everyone see their feet under the curtain/door/cardboard sheet? Think of the children!
... Although I guess they'd just find that hilarious, wouldn't they? Bill and Andreas, I mean, not the children, although who knows these days...)
Characters: You are doing them AWESOME. Plus, the glue thing was probably the most romantic gesture ever. (Nothing says love like super glue. NOTHING, I tell you!)
