I think we all felt the shock of Bushido so choosing not to bone Bill at the end of their date. It was beyond hilarious, and very unexpected.
Well, what's there to say now, ladies? Maybe I should just start making up words to make up for the fact that I've already runs words like fantastic, wonderful, and magnificent dry. So, for this chapter, I'll simply say it's fanderfucent.
Yes, fanderfucent. I find this chapter absolutely fanderfucent. The dry humor, a suave Bushido, and a wailing Bill all made up for a great read, and I'm so looking forward to what else you might have for us. :) Fanderfucent work, girls. We love and look up to you as a couple of the best writers on this site.

You know, every time I read this fic I think of my old AP Lit teacher. This is not a good thing, considering she was old and her make-up was even older (and purple) and I don't really want to be remembering that when I read about Bill being sexed out. But I do, and everytime I think of what our conversation would go like I saw her again. I'm sure she'd start out with "Hello, Eleanor" because she loves to piss me off, and then she'd ask, "Read anything good lately?" and I'd go, "Yes! It's called Negotiable Affections. :3" and she'd be like, "..really. I haven't heard of that..." and I'd go, "Well thank GOD for small mercies."
...and, er, there was no point to that little snippet at all so just ignore it. The real review starts now! D:
For this story, and especially for this chapter, I think, I always feel like I'm looking at it wrong. I feel like I'm not seeing it the way you want me to because I recognize the humor and satire in it but I don't find it funny. If anything, I just feel angry and sad for Bill most of the time. It might just be me, but I think anything that oozes out of you two HAS to be loaded with angst. It's like, a law of the universe or something.
You disgust me. D: But I love it nonetheless. I feel all achy for Bill every time he think something like "It was weird. Like he cared where Bill might be[...]" or "It was safe to now."
Especially that last one because I think I'm finally getting a hold on Bill's character, and it's a little painful how vulnerable he really is. There were mentions that his childhood played a part in where he is now, and it's hard to explain the feeling I get from reading him like this... it's like how they say there is a difference between being alone and being lonely, you know? And Bill definitely isn't alone, but I can tell some part of him is lonely.
I've already gotten too involved in his character, which is why I *need* this fic to have a happy ending. NEED. I try to keep myself distanced by focusing on the sarcasm in his voice - I think, favorite line this chapter: "He adjusted the man's tie, and wondered how much pressure he would really have to exert to snap an eighty-year-old neck."
It's those little bursts of humor that are funny because they're natural - I would be thinking the same thing in Bill's position, I'm sure - that makes it so fun to read things from his POV.
And...I'm hating on Tom right now but we'll get into that later. Onto the next chapter! DD:

Fantastic, as always (I'm sure you two hardly even need to be told that this point). Loved listening to Bill piss and moan throughout his day and complain to anyone who'd listen--it gave an adorable little insight to his character. It also makes you wonder why his feathers are so ruffled...
I'm sensing something bigger around the corner. :)
