I get the feeling you don't really want my reviews, so I'll refrain from reviewing after this one, lol. Just one thing about your statement that irked me, and I felt the need to reply.

You actually said it in a reply to another reviewer, but the fact that you put it as "Would you rather I make it more boring with the silly getting to know one another" really irritated me because as a reader, that's the best part! The getting to know each other, find each other's little quirks, finding things you don't like about the person and the things that you have in common -- that's not boring. I may be the only one that feels this way but I think that's what a romance should be about.

I understand you wanting to write your story your own way, and I get no pleasure out of critiquing people that don't really don't want it, so I'll just end with this.

It is not impossible for love to happen at first sight, no. What's impossible is what you've had happen after it. And as for using Disney as a reference... um, please don't? Fairytales are all good and fun but they should stay just that, fairytales. When you mix them with real life and hope for a realistic outcome is when things start to go wrong.

Author's Response: I totally understand that the getting to know each other part is indeed, the best part. I try hard to have that in my fics. It is just this fic in particular that I am not doing that with. The whole premise of the thing was for it to be spontaneous, hopefully humorous, and just a fun experience. I know that some readers don't like sitting there for chapter upon chapter of getting to know each other. I wrote this to suit their wants and preferences. I know I have some readers that like those things, and for that they can look at my other work. This one was just some thing fun, something for summer, and something that just went from my brain to my fingers to the site, and then I read it myself and wonder where some things come from. The love at first sight, well...the point is that they knew of each other before. I'm spoiling the fic a bit, so people, back away if you don't want to know. I made Nick immediately love Tom because he is meant to be the naive 15 year old teenager that wants to feel something before having to grow up too fast. Joe just simply has a crush on Bill, and Bill has a crush on Joe. It was meant to be a humorous, oh my gosh they are both silly hilarious lead singers, lets slap them together in a couple. As for Tom, he was acting like that because he didn't like being left out of anything, which will be revealed what he is left out of in the next few chapters if you weren't completely scared away. As for the realistic outcomes...I know we all wish that some where in life, our favorite couples will get together but unfortunately, they won't, and that is what fiction is for. I do not see Bill and Joe getting together in any way , shape , or form, and especially not Nick and Tom. So I hope that cleared a few things up. I have plans for where I am going, and I am glad you have reviewed and shared your opinion because it helped me open up a little as to what I was doing exactly. I hope you weren't completely scared away, and I hope you know I did value your opinion. Thank you : )
