Honestly, they are underdeveloped. But I think that makes things a little more interesting for this type of story, learning things as you read. If you were to go back and do any editing, I would say go back and put in more imagery and descriptions and such.
But I loved the chapter and I hope you update again soon. My twin (StixSpaztic) never stops raving about this and I want to see where it goes.
Author's Response: Honestly, I have to agree with you there. I was always worried I didn't elaborate too much on their personalities. I'm going to have to concentrate more on the before I end the story. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being honest. xD I seriously appreciate it. And I also agree on the editing part. Though I was thinking about finishing the story first then going back and editing each chapter, maybe add or take out a few things ect. just so i won't get confused with the beginning and the end of the story. :P

About Jessie possibly beinging pregnant and not knowing what to do with the baby, I know in Illinois they have a law called the Safe Haven Law where the mother can bring the baby to a hospital, police station, fire station, etc. But the baby has to be unharmed and less than seven days old. There are no questions asked and the mom stays anonymous and she can't get in any leagal trouble...
Just thought I'd tell you.

Honestly, I wouldn't say underdeveloped, except maybe perhaps Jessie a little; the rest, no way. Tessa is perfect, we're right inside her head, and Tom's, too. We know just what they're thinking :)
I loved this chapter, for several reasons. I still don't know if Jessie's preggers or not, though! >__< haha. You can't keep us hanging now, especially now we know that she would most likley keep it if she really was! That kinda surprised me... I thought she'd abort it, or something, even though that's totally wrong imo.
Tom and Tessa... dude, I think I actually welled up. The whole thing was just beautiful; I would actually bet that the real Tom is kinda like that in real life, y'know.. just under it all, so it's lovely to see it all playing out, even if it is only in fiction. I'm glad he got his last little bit of happiness, and also that you didn't write it, because that might have spoilt it a little... only a little :P
Bill and Rachel are cute, but it's sad that he had to lie to her :( I hope that at the end sometime, they'll get to see each other again, more than just through a computer.
Oh, and your lines: "But reality was always cold and hard and never tasted very good. You could sprinkle as many sugary white lies and sweet half-truths on it as you wanted, but it was always going to be bitter and tough to swallow"... AMEN TO THAT, my friend. You summed everything up into one with that.
So yeah :) Those are my opinions. And I really don't think you should re-edit the story, it's lovely just the way it is now :) x

So, i have to agree with you on the Jessie thing. I feel like I've been ignoring her a tad, and that's sort of the reason why I put her in this situation, so it would force me to put a little bit of the spotlight on her and not just push her aside.
And yes, I also thought writing Tom and Tessa's last little bit of happiness would have spoilt it. :P I'm glad you think the same way.
Rachel... she may make another appearance :) I'm contemplating that right now.
