Lols XD I was just thinking, since it's UV XD But it's probably not all that bad. But I think if I had a room I could do anything with, I'd definitely paint it black with paint splatters, but I'd also install a million white christmas lights into the walls so that the room was always in this kind of starry twilight... I think it'd look really pretty. There'd be a regular light, of course (I'd probably get a lamp XD), but the only built in ones would be the twinkle lights in the walls.

Author's Response: I've never heard they could be bad for u, but I really don't know. I've seen them used before so if they're out there being sold, I suppose they can't be that bad. Anyways, it's not like you're gonna have them on all the time even if u go thru w that room design. :) (Just let me know if u get skin cancer, so I know not to decorate my room the same way. lol.)

I HOPE I don't inherit this house *shudder* It's a town house in a conservative suburban neighborhood *shudder* Even if I DO inherit it, I'm not going to keep it. It's going straight on the market the second it comes into my possession (if it does XD) Lols XD I most DEFINITELY will. The first house I own, (or, more likely, very small flat) I'll probably paint my room black and splatter brightly colored paint all over the walls XD
Author's Response: Hahaha, I would shudder at living in such a place was well, but I like to think of everything as an investment opportunity. Lol. As for the black room- a friend of mine did that! It looks super cool! Stick a few black lights in there too, it looks sick when everything else is dark and all the designs on your walls stand out. Do it. :)

Yeah XD Although, I was, like, twelve, and I chose pink and white XD I wish I could paint like that XD No, I suck at painting except for single colors or weird designs (like, straight line designs, not swirls or anything XD). But choosing the colors for my new room WAS fun ^-^ I only wish we'd redone the bathroom and closet, too (walk-in closet...) 'cause there's all sorts of paint and shit in the closet, too, and except for the toilet and shower head, nothing in the bathroom's ever been redone...(thirty-year-old house...*shudder*)

As for murals- anything can be called a mural: paint splatters, uneven lines, badly drawn flowers... If you ever get the chance to paint a room again, go crazy. :)

Yups ^-^ But it's fun, too =) Lols XD I actually really like doing stuff like that XD My brother used to study visual art (mostly oil paintings and charcoal), and when he moved out we had to redo his whole room because of how much he'd fucked it up XD It was awesome, though, because it was gonna be my room, so I got to choose what I wanted for colors and everything XD
Author's Response: Cool dude! Yeah, I'm pretty artistic too. I've painted a few rooms before, I had to paint some crazy mural on some walls at work, so I think it's fun. Especially the fact that u got to choose the colors yourself. There's something awesome about being in a room with the color of your choosing. :)

XD I'm from Maryland, near the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay ^-^ I WISH I could do that XD I'd probably love to be nocturnal, but I also want to be an actress, and while most theaters don't start rehearsals until at least ten, and don't start shows until about 1PM, it's still difficult to be nocturnal while being on stage. In film it's even harder, because sometimes you have to be on set at, like five AM *shudder* What d'you mean "painting stairs"???

Best of luck. :) I'm from Toronto, I actually have a night job on the weekends in nightclubs which contributes to my bad sleeping habits throughout. Lol. As for painting stairs- lol, I'm doing a little reno on my parent's house... sanding, re-staining, painting a 3-story stairwell. Fun stuff, kind of. Lol.

Oh, I haven't finished reading it yet XD I just think it's creepy that they're not noticing XD I hadn't finished it when I wrote the review (my bad...*scratches head self-consciously*), and it took me a while to read it the first time, but now I'm going back through to read it again with this in mind, and the twins personalities changing...I dunno, it's just creepy somehow XD
We might be online at the same time, but I shouldn't be on XD I usually read until about 2AM (fanfics, manga, whatever I can get my hands on XD), and it's ten to one AM here XD

I'm usually up at stupid hours reading also, then go to bed at the crack of dawn only to regret it when I sleep in late and stay up late again the next night. You sound a bit like me. I think I was thinking more of a situation where they both realized they were being like the other, and thinking of it as something other than themselves, instead of as coming from them. I think that's where it gets confusing and just seems OOC. Although, in reading it over now, knowing what ACTUALLY happened makes it REALLY effing creepy, and...yeah. Just really creepy. It's almost like Twilight Zone or something...0_0

Lols XD I'm glad you're happy XD I'm rather dense with stuff like that, but I will say one thing: If the twins switched personalities, wouldn't they have noticed? Wouldn't Bill have realized he was acting like Tom, and Tom realized he was acting like Bill? I think the thing with "switching personalities" is that you have to be careful to also switch their whole brain. I mean, I know that's really cliched and all that, but if you're gonna do it...I mean, all I noticed was that they were acting OOC. Someone else might notice that they'd switched (does it come out later???) but I'm rather dense sometimes XD
Author's Response: I think they were both aware that they were changing, but I don't think they have to necessarily know its like the other person. On the other hand- I think I remember Bill did give himself a few pep-talks where he wanted to be less wimpy, more like Tom. There's also the constant background of the G's talking to eachother specifically about how each twin has been changing to be like the other. I hope all that made the reasons the twins were acting OOC more clear rather than more confusing. It not, then Oops! Lol. As to switching their whole brains.... Lol, I'm pretty sure you're not talking sci-fi here, so I'm not sure what u mean. Like, have them switch everything down to their clothing? I personally think that would be too literal, it would have to be for a different fic. Coincidentally, I have a fic started where the twins are forced to switch clothing, maybe I'll bounce some plot ideas off u if its ok. Thanks for writing back! :)

Um...just wondering, is that "girl with the purple hair" supposed to be a certain someone who happens to be writing this fic??? XD Lols XD Mini-self-insert, with nothing happening except being mentioned, is definitely okay XD Also, wanted to point out (I forgot to when I was reading Atlas Shrugged and War & Peace) careful where you use "sat." Sat is the past tense of sit, but there is also "seated" (ex. He was seated at the table) which is a slightly more formal version of "sitting" (ex. He was sitting at the table). Verb conjugations are confusing (native English speaker - trust me, I know XD), but very important, so...I just thought I'd mention it ^-^
Author's Response: Wow, HAAHAHA, yes, that's me. I think you're the first person to spot it. Hahaha. I admit it was pretty dumb of me to stick that self-insert in there (since I HATE self-inserts), but it was my first fic and I couldn't resist doing it once and never again, just as if she was a face in the crowd. As for my sat/sit/seated... I'm actually a native English speaker also, perfectly fluent my whole life, so I feel REALLY stupid right now for doing that, but I'll tell u why. LOL. You see, I have a few British friends that speak that way, "ex. He was sat at a table." in slang and I adopted that into my everyday speech so long ago that I must have forgotten to not use that in writing. Shit. I feel dumb that I've apparently done that a few times... I'll have to go back and proofread again. :(

Beautiful. This could have actually passed for a real novel! You had a way of putting the reader through what was really going on. And the part where Tom is pulling Bill back, was that actual peotry? It was lyrical and beautiful and deep, and I can only aspire to be as thought provoking and captivating as this story in my future fics. Beautiful.
